i remember i didnt save the game b4 battling articuno... i had my trusty lvl 29 arcanine and i used ember and it was a critical hit.... i freaked out but i was relieved when it had 1 HP :DD and then he got a burn and i threw my gameboy the wall....

Extra Clues:

Dont damage articuno but Use a sleep powder attack and use one or two more ultraballs,

This is a really good movie, and cudos to you, ddr5551... in my opinion, I think everyone has their own special creative way to catch pokemon. That's what I love about this game, it requires general knowledge, tactics, creativity, variety, experience (not just the exp points lol), and patience to become a great trainer. So there is not really a "better" way, because even the smartest idea will fail, not just in the game, but in life.
