@VarunMehtasWorld --That'd be "The Ruby of Hamistan". I found a whole cache of these old cartoons at IMDb with plenty of episodes that aren't here...like "The Vile Inn Case", The Platterpuss Caper", "Tacos Tangle", and "Cop and Saucer".

I used to watch these old cartoons on TV back in the day. I even did a spot-on Mumbles impersonation--that became my nickname, in fact. I even had it put on the back of my old denim jacket. Memories, memories.

I used to love this show. They played it on some channel (Family Channel?) while the new movie was hot in 1990. So un-politically correct. Love it.

Ah who can remember the Dick Tracy tv series. When It was on WGN-TV in1961 with the late great Ray Rayner hosted the show along with SGT.Pettibone. it was on for 5 years and the toons are so memorable.

Although the Joe Jitsu character is very un-PC, it is interesting to note that he usually was portrayed as the most competent and effective of the rotating cops on the show. He didn't have the bumbling moments of the others, and he was usually able to beat up on the bad guys fairly easily.

Dick Tracy never did anything but a Cameo in the beginning and end of every Cartoon. He didn't do anything. Yes, it was racist (it was the 1960's)Go Go Gomez, Joe Jitsu, etc were all Hollywood Stereotypes of ethnic minorities. The cartoon was about as formulaic as Casper the Ghost.
