The only other asian channel my cable company offers is a Japanese channel, but I have to pay an extra like $50 a month just for one channel and it's programming is nowhere near as varied as AZN. It's just not fair.
AZN channel was great, but it went off the air. Partially cuz they wouldnt subtitle shit, didnt have good advertisements, and didnt advertise itself at all. It was my favorite channel, though. I could always count on something good being on there, and now it's gone, and it seems like there's nothing on TV anymore. All the drama is like Desperate Housewives stuff, and the comedy is old and tired. AZN also had Mars, the only TV show I'd actually make time in advance to watch.
What a loss. I really like AZN TV. They have awesome music shows. As a musician, I've really enjoyed having the opportunity to be exposed to the latest hot bands of the Asian world. I will miss it! Can't something be done? What if BET shut down?! This is just as huge!

My experience with other specialty networks and television shows is that, once they are pulled, they will never come back again. I have been taping AZN TV all day since the shut down notice. I have read on the net the age old story: AZN TV was not marketed correctly to bring in advertising revenue to cover broadcast costs. Parent company Comcast does not want to spend any more money to keep it on. Where is the revolt in our AZN TV going away forever???!!! HELP US!!!
