@AlphonsePride Most musical academics would say Meg White doesn't know how to play drums, but if you changed how she plays, they wouldn't sound like The White Stripes anymore. Get off your technical high horse and keep your textbook in the classroom where it belongs. Any good musician looks at a song in its entirety. When you change one component, it stops being that song, lyrics included. You can argue about the technique until you're blue in the face, but it doesn't actually mean anything.
