It's heartbreaking seeing the faces of the cast and crew accepting the Emmy for best comedy. You can tell they were all thinking, '"This is it! People are gonna watch the show after this!" only to be screwed over by Fox.

I just finished Season 3 and I have to admit.

I wish there was another show that had:

~ Such brilliant callbacks.

~ The hilarious ironic dialogue (eg: Maeby and George Michael discussing "notes").

~ As many great personalities and characters. There was not a single character, major or minor, who felt useless to the show (if any character, Lucille 2 was kind of ehhh).

~ Different story lines that melt together in such witty and unpredictable ways.

~ As epic a cast.

@RdSoxFan618 You should check out Community, the Russo brothers are writers/producers on the show, I think the comedy is on the same level as Arrested Development (maybe less callbacks, lots of references) and in my opinion a funnier cast.

I am sorry to say today is the first time i have ever seen this show. I caught the pilot episode on Netflix and fell in love with it. I wish I could have been able to support this show when it needed it. But I dont watch television. But I do plan to buy the DVDs of this show and It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia

Fox was blessed to have such a beautifully comical creation, one of the best (if not THE BEST), comedy series of all time on their network and decided to kill it.

Here's hoping the same thing isn't going to (or isn't already starting to happen) to my newly beloved Glee.

bought all 3 seasons after watching the pilot about a month ago. best show to ever be on tv. brilliant intelligent humour and great characters. sad that its gone but lets hope that the movie next year can create some form of future resurrection.

You think that after winning countless awards including Emmys, Golden Globes, and several others people would step up and watch the damn show. It's an amazing show with humor that has not been past by any show. I can't see how a show this smart and funny could be cancelled while shit shows like Dancing With The Stars, Two and a half men, and several dumb shows could still be on the air.

definately!FOX allows sum dum shows 2 stay on air,like "til death", but AD was AWESOME,original & hilarious but alas it was cancelled! ridiculous! but i have 2 disagree about dancing with the stars. 1st-its a reality show so i really cant put it n the same category as two n a half men & AD. & secondly i like the show & i think it deserves 2 still b on air, maybe bcuz i love dancing, idk. but i respect that u dont like the show, im just saying...but i do agree wit u about arrested developement.

I think the very fact that we are so engulfed in reality tv shows how bad the situation is.

Reality tv requires absolutely no thought. Arrested Development was a show that made you think. Even if you didn't get it the first time, you would take time to process it, and maybe a few days later you would laugh out loud. Not only that but it would still be funny every time you remembered it. Arrested Development was not simply entertaining, but ultimately rewarding.
