Oh,yes V-twins are so much predictable, always predict to much torque. When you often get not wanted wheelies, or spinning rear tire on 4-th gear on wet or on 2-nd on dry. You are right to much torque is so predictable in V-twins.
Pull those ugly Kawasaki "ninja" and "ZX10R" stickers off of that otherwise beautiful bike! (I have the same one) The guy who said the new pipes won't make a difference is an idiot!
The ninja font is the same as it was in 1986! The bike may as well be white with purple and red. The tail stickers aren't as bad, but the ninja font has to go! All black with no stickers looks bad ass! To each his own!
I was going to get the "bling" pipes but they looked so bright. like chrome or something. I just got the 2brothers aluminum. I wanted the yoshi carbons but the price killed me!!
They sound different alright. Even more 'bass' when idling anyways. Congratulations. You spend another grand and a half or so to replace a brand new set o' pipes, just so even more neighbours will silently hate you even harder for annoying them with it :)
But seriously.. The original pipes just don't look cool, I'll give you that. The replacements don't look as if they were designed to fit snugly for the ZX10R though, so IMHO that's not a solution.

You're a retard. I recorded it before and after, and there is a huge difference. The way that the mufflers are positioned, being in the garage, does not affect the harmonics. You're pretty naive to think that adding two yoshimura pipes would not alter the sound from stock.
Surely they'll sound different -- but no one will be able to tell from this off-sync vid' without also hearing those original pipes on same bike, in the same garage, recorded with the same camera.
My little sisters' scooter sounds heavy in the garage too.
I have a video of the original pipes in that exact location, and trust me, it sounds different. I'll upload it some day.. I was hoping to join both clips together and upload but I don't have the software.
i say it sounds better stock probley has more power stock
