Its the same here close to most cities. Huge house, tiny blocks & fancy cars.

Some ppl (mainly office types I guess) are just happy to live their lives indoors, even to the extent of payin some guy to mow their 3ft square lawns.

Im happy with my little house on a big block in a small country town near the beach.

My dad used to rant about truck bed liners. His contention was he bought a truck to haul stuff.... that is what the bed is for.... so of course it will get scratched up..... its a truck! Whats the difference between a scratched up bed or a scratched up bed liner....... So when I bought my first new pickup, i went to show my dad, and the first thing he does is throw a concrete block in the bed and says..." Now its broke in". haha I loved it... old school!

Sounds like Bend OR. Tex the standars house was goin from 350 to 475,000 a piece only devider is a fence you cant walk between. I spent 165 with 2 acres just out of town works for me. I like neighbors sure when theyre 5 miles away down a dirt road.

I'd keep my old truck but I'd probably indulge in a new John Deere! The people who are worse are the ones in the LT's with $400 hats and some exotic skin boots and who haven't worked hard a day in their life

Then you can keep delivering their triple paned low e hyper tech windows for new McMansions and I can keep selling them over priced crap that they don't need for their homes...

Good rant! I deal with the monied quite often, CEO'S for oil companies and such, and I have to say that most are in that position because they lack a few morals and ethics that the rest of us have...I also know a few that are salt of the earth, very few, ,,,,that lincoln is just a boiled over F150 with a couple of tacky add ons...I have to say that the new F150 I had (in the new style) was the biggest POS that I ever owned.....not a good bush truck or 4x4 for that matter,
