@rockz1 throw the string in the bin and slap it with the palm of your hand, pretend its your bike tyre your hand needs to be mooving the same speed as the bike tyre when it touches or youll get burnt just slap it up to speed!!!

@rockz1 ive no idea what starting it "with the carpet" means? but if you can start it by any means possible and try to maintain it spinning as slow as possible without it stopping it will train you how to start it from that speed, and concentrate on the 20c peice technique part of the vid cause thatll help too but the faster you can get it spinning of the bat the easier it will be to keep going

Hows that holding up? I had an NSD for like 2 weeks til it busted on me and started schreaching. Picked up a Dynaflex Powerball at a trade show by chance and I still have it til today. Amazing! you dont want the rattle. the rattle is the rotor jump of its gyro supprts. it will not only slow it down it will cause excessive wear. it should sound smooth. but it will rattle once it starts to wear.

the coin movement and the fact that it's easier to start when you have it facing down helped a lot!  I couldn't get it started it because I lost the cord and it was just sitting there for two months now. this helped and now I can start it up, thanks a bunch!

@uploadmania93 try starting it with the string and keep it going as slow as you possibly can this will help you master getting it going from a slow speed which is half the trick

Im glad someone finally explained for us lol. A lot of video's show you how, but only you so far, have shown us that you actually have to tilt the ball that bit more to throw it off balance. Good tutorial, I learned to thumb flick after about 20 times using this, and I'd been trying for 4 hours before this lol.

Thanks the video helped a lot. That horrible plastic sound is caused by you not holding it properly when you stopped spinning it the first time you got it really going. Don't! It really damages it.

ive been through 3 powerballs in 12 months

they generate so much force and they are only plastic, horible noise or not, your gonna need to replace them to stay competative ive got my first one still i let friends try it it sounds like a jet engine breaking up!:D
