  • Oh get over it. It's just traffic... I mean efficient traffic flow. Something beyond imagination of all those people who live in 1st world developed countries with barely any population densities.

  • first of all, I don't agree to people said that because the population in china cause the traffic influence. it's about education of people! look at hong kong, I think the density is much more that that! there should not be any excuse to people behave in this driving.

  • Better than Vietnam and India.

  • believe me u don't want to give way to pedestrians when driving in china, in Eu and US it'd be reasonable to do so, but there r just too many road users in china, ur talking bout giving way to countless pedestrians, and bikes, and even rickshaws...and considering the populatoin density in cities like beijing and shanghai, i suppose traffic accidents are occuring at normal acceptable rate.

  • I'm sure if this was taped over the course of 2 weeks rather than 2 minutes I'm sure we would see a fair amount of accidents

  • nice video. would you tape more?

  • omg. If that was NY, 5 people would have died in that 2 minutes

The good thing in US is that Car give right of way to pedestrian.

In China, it's still a long way for the drivers to learn this.

  • amazing how despite the fact that they have 6 lane boulavards and yet they are still congested, man I wish toronto had road like that , there's not even enough room for bicycle lanes!

  • The problem is that intersections aren't clearly marked. There doesn't seem to be a concept of a "yellow box junction" like in the UK.

Drivers and pedestrians are just uneducated about safety!

  • だいぶ良くなったね。

    以前はもっとひどかったもん。

  • Hmm, well if you live in the US it is much different even in a big city. People dont just barge through intersections like that. I have friends travelling with me in China who are from New York and they have never seen anything like this.

  • @RufusTank

In US, it's much better. Cars know to give right of way. In China, car give right of way to none. Firstly, it will take some time for the driver to learn how to give way. Secondly, traffic is heavy. Keeping giving right of way would be not efficient. Why it's OK in US? Because most people in US drive. The talk between driver and driver would be easy. China has too many pedestrian

  • what is the big deal? everything runs perfect except a few pedistrians. you must come from a small rural village. It is important to let u see the ourside world.
