This is so adorable! I used to have a pair of Golden Retrievers & they are wonderful dogs...it must've been awesome to have a well-trained Golden like Comet,despite he can be a naughty boy at times yet all dogs(as well as other animals)have a tendency to be "bad" at times! Now I think I've got a bad case of "puppy love!" lol.
I too used to have a Golden Retriever, she passed away in September 2009. I remember when she was 1 years old I too baked her a cake, but no candles...
I really miss her. I have had her when she was a pup, and I was only 10 years old.
