lars has the same strength and power as a younger heihachi, it's a form of the devil gene it's even mentioned in the campaign numb skull, devil gene doesn't mean tranform into a devil it means all that enhanced strength and speed. heihachi and lars have the ehancment but nothnig more kazuya (having made a deal with the devil has lot more, though lost some when beaten down hence why "Devil" isn't playable anymore) and jin, born from the seed a freak with super human power, it was passed onto him.

from end of T5 to T6 jin is A protaginist along with Kazuya, heihachi has given up trying to control his family feud rather and lars has taken over as the new hero representing a more pure and bright side to the devil gene powers (if u fight with him he has numerous devil gene traits liek the crackling lighting and super huamn speed but he doesn't abuse it

Lars DOES NOT posses the Devil Gene. Its simply the Mishima Gene (The Electricity) IF lars would have posses the devil gene then Jin or Kazuya would sense it. Just like how Jinpachi sensed jin's devil gene when they first encountered.

Jin's basically being fighting the evil within since the start. Jin went into a period of self-hatred after Heihachi's betrayal in Tekken 3, and wanted to get rid of himself, as well as every other Mishima alive. Tekken 4 sees Jin's devil gene go beserk, so Jin tries to get rid of the devil gene once and for all. To Jin, the only way of doing that was, becoming the head of Mishima Zibastzu, declaring war on the world, bringing grief on the world, fighting Kazuya and killing himself and Azazel.

i think it is a shame. i mean they have completely ruined the meaning of the game. this is too much - the world at war. this idea is, at the same time,ridiculous and far too impossible to happen. and some of the characters storylines are all messed up. for example: jin has always been sort of a positive guy. thats why he wants to end his bloodline, didn't kill heihachi, likes his mothers teachings, hates deception and etc. how did they come with the idea to make him so hungry for power....

What I do like though, is that it became more of a climax. At the beginning the biggest thing was the Mishima family, and then it was still really small. But thanks to this feud and quest all the characters who were on the side just fighting for themselves are now taking sides because Kazuya and Jin both know those people's fighting ability and are hiring them for protection. It really is like anime.

Of what I have heard, that isn't the original Armor King as in Tekken 5: Dark Ressurection, Armor King in his ending greets King II with disrespect, negativity. So King and Marduk became friends to discover who he is are what he is.
