Ive been really torn on these pilot sets, so far I have NOT bought them basically cause I dont know that I wanna start collecting another action figure theme, IE pilots.
I DO like the Twi'lek figure; Im tempted to pick this set up just for that but then that would lead to buying the OTHER set and so on and so on LOL...good review, thanks for giving me a better look at these.

I agree with TriBryce. One Tie-Fighter and one X-Wing pilot is enough for me.
I really enjoyed the background information on the figures. Keep on with them!
Concerning the weathering-effects: I really like them and hoped Hasbro would do more, as they were the reason to buy certain figures at all. Cost-effectiveness sounds like a bad joke to me.

Saw this, didn't look like it was fit for me, so I didn't get it. Not a huge fan of the pilots ans such and such. Great review though!
