@AllanHP Not really. This is a Class A/B amp, so it's more of a JCM type amp. I'd recommend the Laney Lionheart or VC series, which are Class A. Those two amps will probably suit the style you are looking for.
I purchased a Laney LC15r, I wouldn't swap it for a Fender Super Champ, It has excellent sound, a real pleasure to listen to. I believe the Fender sounded good, it was brighter, but I prefer my one. I really like the sound of the Laney with a stratocaster, with out effects, it's like crystal. Beautiful. For home use I find the 15watts a bit much, I think I have it on 3 at the most. I hardly use any gain. 5 watts would have been enough for me....
Excellent demo, really hear the differences of the settings, the reverb sounds very powerful. Does it sound good at low volume, as well as cranked up? Have you compared the sound with the likes of the Fender Super Champ XT.
I compared both yesterday and the LC sounds much better, more body, strength, warmer, richer, creamier, more Tube.Fender sounds like an improved solid state, lots of bright and treble sounds, very cool at a first sight , but too dry and poor comparing.A huge difference, not noticeable with videos.I try at low and high volumen and sounds perfect. I have to try Peavy Valveking 112, Windsor Studio and the white Vox. But I bet none of them can be much better than this, any oppinion?
hey. What is the diffrence with LC15R and LC-15-110 ?

Then again, it has allot of gig potential.

@masterguitarforro Do you mean that the LC15 has more gain than the overdriven channel of the VC15?
