  • Another great song written by Margaret Pleasant Douroux

  • WOW! I grew up to this song, my mother had the vinyl record. My childhood church sung this song as well..............haven't heard it in years until now. This is one record that is SO hard to find, many thanks for uploading this!

  • The lead to this song is not David Ball. David led "How Great Thou Art". This is Hank Neal singing lead on this!

  • Oh my. I haven't heard this song in well over 20 yrs. Never knew it was originated right up the road from my hometown of Flint.

  • Sang Hank Neal!.........

  • Never gets old says Mike Parker

  • Correction...to mynameisjimw.....the soloist on this song is the amazing voice of my former Donald Vails Choraleers choir mate.....Hank Neal. David Ball, also another amazing vocalist....he is greatly missed!

  • Another classic that takes me back to Doswell Cathedral in Baltimore MD summer convocation.

  • Thank you thank you thank you for this song , there are no words right now

  • The male chorus at my church recently sang this song. This song is a blessings and a reminder that if I get out of God's way he can handle whatever is going on in my life!

  • This was my song. This was my song. This was my song.

I am shouting in the basement. This album has traveled with me from new orleans to DC. It was a graduation present 30 years ago and still has meaning today.

  • I love this song!

  • Melissa, Tonya and Micki...AND Crystal...we had them under the pews with this

  • We sang this in a concert at Greater Apostolic Faith of San Diego. Leads were Maurice Barbour and the now Pastor Dillard. This is a oldie but goodie.

  • OMG!!! CHURCH! I remember our choir tearing this song up! And the church shouting...where did it all go?

  • Hank, istill alive and still singing gospel. He's my uncle.

  • Hank Neal is leading this song. Is he still alive?

  • this posting took me back use to sing with the choir as a matter of fact i sung on this recording

  • wonderful song. it brings back so many memories of childhood choirs. this was simple and powerful songs. nothing flashy just a wonderful message

  • It's amazing when you think of how many folks lives have been impacted by Donald

Even after his death, his body of works lives on in the lives of many. I;m sure God is well pleased with Donald's stewardship,,,

  • Okay, this just took me back to when I was about 7. Wow

  • I wish that all of Donald's Albums were on cd,

  • Amen!!

  • put this album on play it through...turn it over and do it again

  • Hey, thanks for posting, I was just looking for this on here... This is a great one, didn't realize this was that old... I heard this song for the first time like 4 years ago, and have loved it ever since...

  • I bought this album hot off the presses when it first came out and I thoroughly enjoyed it,and I still do! Richard Smallwood is on this album singing He's able. Donald Vails music was a joy to listen to and no matter where or when, rest assured you know you're definitely goilng to hear some good singing!RIP Donald.

  • I bought mines hot off the press as well and it still has that same anointing today.

  • This is the incredibly beautiful voice of David Ball.

  • I heard this song on the radio back in the day when I was living in Detroit and believe it or not, the dj actually played the entire song on the air. Now and days you do good if you can hear a 3 to 5 minute song in its entirety on the radio.

  • Nobody could do gospel like the Detroit. I'm gonna miss all the pioneers who helped shaped gospel music into what it is today. Our latest loss to date includes Rev. Charles A. Craig, III.

  • Dr. Douroux was just talking about this song (one of her old ones) at her conference this past October in Los Angeles. She walked into a church in Massachusettes and they were doing this song during the devotional period. Said that she needs to pull more of her old stuff out !

  • I love this song!!!! I was born in 87 but I have this song on my mp3 player I will sit there and let it minister to me.

  • thank you soooooooo much for the songs! wow!
