Race is what Mugabe purports the issue to be, but if you knew anything about it, you would know that it is just a front, behind which he hides. @KalahariSurf i don't think it comes down to colour but perhaps the social and or political context as to how one initally settled in the region of say America or Africa. Also, how one participated in the development and whatever changes were made in that particular country. There are major differences between the prescence of African Americans and their contribution to American and the prescence of whites in Africa. Just a thought.

And unlike settlers in America Whites in Africa didn't wipe-out the local peoples, but that's not to say Whites were always Angelic in their actions towards Africa and Africans, and if Black Americans have a claim to the USA due to their contribution to building the country then surely so do Whites in Africa?
