  • Man, I used to live down the street from there, is there any footage floating around anywhere that is from when it was open in the 60's or 70's?

  • Do you mind if I use a couple of seconds of this in my film about Eloise, I will give you credit.

  • @bestsupscriptions I have to decline. Sorry. Somebody else paid for the hi def transfer is trade for use of the footage.

  • I didn't think they started demolishing Eloise that far back. It still stood for a long time after it was closed.

  • @LisaBaby67 They demolished parts of it in the mid 80's. As seen on my film. The buildings they took down were along Merriman and west of the powerhouse. I was there and saw it. Look at :55

  • @northvilletunnels I didn't even know when they started tearing it down. I used to drive past it almost every day. I wish they'd left it there.

  • @LisaBaby67 I agree. i wish they had left everything alone. I remember when the barn burned down in 84 or 85. I figured the county did it to save money.

  • @northvilletunnels Probably. My husband was born in that hospital. (When it was a county hospital, not a mental asylum. lol)

  • This is amazing! Thank you for uploading this!

  • AWESOME!

  • Cool vid. I'll Google this place and learn more about it tomorrow.
