My 250 a month habit just got healthier and is likely to cost me no more than 25 bucks a month on average.
Just bought a Janty Jet, and as a pack a day smoker, thought the 11MG e juice would be fine, I couldn't have been more wrong. It was WAY to strong. I have three bottles of 11MG pg, and I'm going to but some VG tomorrow to soften the nicotine content.
My only concern is that I'll ruin the flavor. I love the cappuccino, but if I vape the way I want to, I'll be sick in 20 minutes.
I'm hoping her method of adding VG and lowering the nicotine down to 5/6 mg will let me vape without the dizziness
It looks like it is probably a caselogic cloth cd wallet or case with the cd sleeves taken out (just a guess - if that is what it is, you can get one at walmart for very little money). a small travel bag or make-up bag would probably work pretty good too.

Hi Lorann, Had a question, I was making a couple of differnt mixes and all of them see to have a burning or burned taste. No matter the flavor i use. ( its a new atty so its not that ) im mixing about 4 drops of lorann flavoring about 30 drops of tobacco and about 30 drop of glycerine. ive tried 3 differnt flavors all the same mixes and always have that taste. any ideas ? anyone else ideas ? thanks

@simonsmithmusic YES, it is safe. Both are "food safe" and nicotine is not what causes all of the smoking-related diseases. Like a lot of things, you have to make sure you're not getting too much nicotine. PG is used in a LOT of foods and medicines.
I would not worry about the effect from e cigs compared to regular... I have been smoking mine now for 5 days without a single cig after reading what everyone said about reg tasting bad I had to try...OMG, THAT HAS TO BE THE NASTIEST, I don't think I could ever go back, it really made me want to puke and i have smoked for 10 yrs!

ive mixed glycerin with flavorings from walmart (McCormick brand) and they work pretty good for me. Ive used Almond, Butter, Spearmint, Cherry and Strawberry. All but the chery and strawberry tasted great, but the other two had a wierd taste to them. They both happen to be the two with the most ingrediants. Stick with flavors with very little ingredients and you should be fine.
what if you just put vegtable glycerin with nothing else. will it be just flavorless vape? i was thinking about doing that and adding mint extract for super cheap menthol. lol
It has a sweet taste. I tried adding a vanilla extract and it did not work out too well. I ordered some virginia flavor concentrate from wicked vapor and had better luck. I have heard you can get menthol crystals and dissolve them in the glycerin by heating in the microwave but I don't smoke menthol so have not tried it myself. 6 oz of glycerin was 2.98 in the first aid aisle at Walmart.
Ive made a mixture of vegetable glycerin(5 dollars for 2 ounces from crafts store in candy isle) and spearmint extract and you get a really nice strong menthol-ish taste that you can feel and taste on the way in and out.
theres not too much of a mixture "recipe" that i followed, honestly all i did was take some glycerin and put it in a container and then add a few drops at a time until it seemed strong enough, then vaped it. I would say, if you have something to measure ML with, do about 5 ML of glycerin and 10 drops of flavor, vape it and see how it is. Im not a pro mixer at all, only tried it about 10 times so im still getting the hang of it, but the mixes i made were great and lots of flavor, especiallyMint

I don't know where you live but in Michigan I found a 160z bottle at harvest health foods so pretty much any healthfood store will have vegetable glycerin for the most reasonable price.
Glycerin is VG vegetable glycerin, that's what she's using. PG is propylene Glycol and it's used as the base for most e-liquids. I like to cut mine 50/50 with glycerine cause I'm a little sensitive to the pg. Works great. Happy Vaping!

Now I have zero urge to ever buy regular cigarettes again, I'd rather wait for batteries to recharge. I bought a car charger.
After years of smoking analogs, I bought an e-cigarette (NJOY brand), and kept it for a couple days. I eventually had to take it back, because the refills (which were supposed to last the length of 1-1/2 packs) lasted half a day for me. I so badly wish I could get an e-cigarette that lasts longer, though, because going back to analogs after that made me sick. I didn't realize how disgusting they are.
The length of time a cartridge lasts is the biggest turnoff to new users, because they are led to believe they are supposed to last the length of 20-30 cigarettes, but only lasts about 8. Most people figure out that you just pack around a bottle of juice instead of a lighter and just top off your e-cig with 2 drops and you're good for about 1 cig. You can also do a full refill with a paperclip and more drops. Just buying new cartridges all the time is way too expensive. Buy Liquid instead.

Yes, most suppliers provide all of their flavors in several different strengths including 0 nicotine. You can also mix your own in the same manner that she is using straight Propylene Glycol/Vegetable Glycerin and whatever flavoring you choose.

She said that was a 36 MG bottle of nicotine. That is a near dangerous dose. 40-60 MG consumed rapidly can cause death. The e liquids I have found are limites to no more that 24 MG....and 16-18Mg seem to be the cap for most. Smoking 36MG could make anyone feel sick.....that's strong.
Ive heard that the vanilla extract is super strong and most people say the taste is way overpowering. I havent tried this myself but definitely plan on trying it. Id think if you make a large enough batch, and use a very small amount, it should work well. Again, this is all trial and error and personal preference.
I highly recommend the Johnson creek e-liquid instead of the totally wicked e-liquid... Its cheaper, and the flavor is so much better! If you have any questions let me know...

I have read that as well but someone (I forgot who) debunked that whole thing. I've been cutting virtually all of my e-liquids with it and have no adverse effects.
A couple of the lorann flavors gave me upset stomach (strawberry kiwi was one of them). Other than that, no side effects!

If not try cleaning your whole e-cig and it should get rid of the burning taste.

Hi Rita, great video. I am just waiting for my first e cig to arrive, and am wondering if there is any advice you could offer me (i ordered the 510, seems to be one of the most popular). You're voice comes across so clear and puctuated (oppose to a lot of vids I've watched) thank you for posting these vids, you don't come across as "being a pro" or condesceding at all like some of the other vids on e cigarettes i've watched.

@Camboninja94 i mix my oil with a little water. "My oil is made with the Butain method". Not sure if I spelt that right.
One drop of oil for two drops of purified water. I heard of people mixing it with vg also. "Yuck" not in my bowl lol.
There is also a Cannabis club here in cali that offers a Hash oil e liquid never tryed theres., but i heard it was called Harborside health.
also having a good vape is prime. Im using the volcano 510

oh reall you can get the same juice. well i have tried that juice to and i didnt like it as much. i have tried everything ok and nothing was better than totallywickedeliquid juice. they have all different kind of flavors and strengths. just try it. @simonsmithmusic YES, it is safe. Both are "food safe" and nicotine is not what causes all of the smoking-related diseases. Like a lot of things, you have to make sure you're not getting too much nicotine. PG is used in a LOT of foods and medicines.

I would not worry about the effect from e cigs compared to regular... I have been smoking mine now for 5 days without a single cig after reading what everyone said about reg tasting bad I had to try...OMG, THAT HAS TO BE THE NASTIEST, I don't think I could ever go back, it really made me want to puke and i have smoked for 10 yrs!

i would wonder what kind of effect the glycerin would have on your lungs over a long term use. i guess being hydrogenated it cant cause much harm, and in fact i can imagine a kind of water exchange between your lungs and the glycerin which could aid in lung regeneration and detox?
i really dont know the specifics of the interaction between hydrogenated glycerin and your body, especially in a vapor form. would be interesting if studied though eh? :D

definetly. but i wish e- liquid cost less money. somebody give me some free liquids to try. this is my first day with my joye 510 and i wish i had some actual liquids to choose from instead of these five carts it come with, definetly pretty good stuff but honestly i wish i had more variety.

ive mixed glycerin with flavorings from walmart (McCormick brand) and they work pretty good for me. Ive used Almond, Butter, Spearmint, Cherry and Strawberry. All but the chery and strawberry tasted great, but the other two had a wierd taste to them. They both happen to be the two with the most ingrediants. Stick with flavors with very little ingredients and you should be fine.

what if you just put vegtable glycerin with nothing else. will it be just flavorless vape? i was thinking about doing that and adding mint extract for super cheap menthol. lol

It has a sweet taste. I tried adding a vanilla extract and it did not work out too well. I ordered some virginia flavor concentrate from wicked vapor and had better luck. I have heard you can get menthol crystals and dissolve them in the glycerin by heating in the microwave but I don't smoke menthol so have not tried it myself. 6 oz of glycerin was 2.98 in the first aid aisle at Walmart.

Ive made a mixture of vegetable glycerin(5 dollars for 2 ounces from crafts store in candy isle) and spearmint extract and you get a really nice strong menthol-ish taste that you can feel and taste on the way in and out.

theres not too much of a mixture "recipe" that i followed, honestly all i did was take some glycerin and put it in a container and then add a few drops at a time until it seemed strong enough, then vaped it. I would say, if you have something to measure ML with, do about 5 ML of glycerin and 10 drops of flavor, vape it and see how it is. Im not a pro mixer at all, only tried it about 10 times so im still getting the hang of it, but the mixes i made were great and lots of flavor, especiallyMint

I don't know where you live but in Michigan I found a 160z bottle at harvest health foods so pretty much any healthfood store will have vegetable glycerin for the most reasonable price.

Glycerin is VG vegetable glycerin, that's what she's using. PG is propylene Glycol and it's used as the base for most e-liquids. I like to cut mine 50/50 with glycerine cause I'm a little sensitive to the pg. Works great. Happy Vaping!

analogs do taste like sh@#, it didn't take me long to find out, because my batteries would run out when I was out and about and would go buy analogs to satisfy my nicotine craving, and boy oh boy, I couldn't believe how much I hated the taste of regular cigarettes. I couldn't wait for my batteries to charge so I could vape something tasty and doesn't leave a stench. Now I have zero urge to ever buy regular cigarettes again, I'd rather wait for batteries to recharge. I bought a car charger.

After years of smoking analogs, I bought an e-cigarette (NJOY brand), and kept it for a couple days. I eventually had to take it back, because the refills (which were supposed to last the length of 1-1/2 packs) lasted half a day for me. I so badly wish I could get an e-cigarette that lasts longer, though, because going back to analogs after that made me sick. I didn't realize how disgusting they are.

The length of time a cartridge lasts is the biggest turnoff to new users, because they are led to believe they are supposed to last the length of 20-30 cigarettes, but only lasts about 8. Most people figure out that you just pack around a bottle of juice instead of a lighter and just top off your e-cig with 2 drops and you're good for about 1 cig. You can also do a full refill with a paperclip and more drops. Just buying new cartridges all the time is way too expensive. Buy Liquid instead.

So basically if you want to mix, you can get a high concentration (36 mg), mix it 50/50 w/ glycerine so its the equivalent of 18 mgs, and then add y our flavoring, never done this before, and ordering an e-cig tomorrow prolly, was looking up info

Yes, most suppliers provide all of their flavors in several different strengths including 0 nicotine. You can also mix your own in the same manner that she is using straight Propylene Glycol/Vegetable Glycerin and whatever flavoring you choose.

She said that was a 36 MG bottle of nicotine. That is a near dangerous dose. 40-60 MG consumed rapidly can cause death. The e liquids I have found are limites to no more that 24 MG....and 16-18Mg seem to be the cap for most. Smoking 36MG could make anyone feel sick.....that's strong.

Ive heard that the vanilla extract is super strong and most people say the taste is way overpowering. I havent tried this myself but definitely plan on trying it. Id think if you make a large enough batch, and use a very small amount, it should work well. Again, this is all trial and error and personal preference.

I've been looking at TW's lineup. All I have are 401's and 402's. I like them a lot, but there are just so many toys out there to try. Do you happen to know what models the Titan and super ecigs are?

The Titan is also known as the 510 (yeti, dura, etc), the super is the same as the Smoking Everywhere, Pee Wee, etc...
I've got all three and prefer the Titan off of the three :)

Hey RitaLee I just started mixing my own juice also due to this fabulous video. Question for you: I recently saw a thread on e-cig forum that says food grade glycerin can be dangerous. What do you know about this? Have you had any adverse affects from vaping with the glycerin? Thanks hon keep up the great work. I have viewed all you videos and you are very clear and concise in each step and I truly appreciate your efforts to educate and share with us.

I have read that as well but someone (I forgot who) debunked that whole thing. I've been cutting virtually all of my e-liquids with it and have no adverse effects.
A couple of the lorann flavors gave me upset stomach (strawberry kiwi was one of them). Other than that, no side effects!
