@Wyldwulf Life (new cells) spring out of the result of a chemical reaction, wich often requires surrounding energy. This is an observable fact. So basically, life or a living entity is an energy consuming and "storage" of nutrients. There is nothing holy about this, when we die we become fertiliser for plants (new "energy") and the cycle of life goes on. I'm quite happy about this, in a sence that is living for an eternity (but in another form). So, in the future, my body WILL save lives. =)

Until you can present actual evidence rather than simply appealing to beauty and wonder (which proves nothing, you don't need god to appreciate beauty and wonder), and until you work out your own inconsistencies (you argue that Big Bang theory / evolution are "outdated" yet quote the Bible which is thousands of years older), I will continue to examine scientifically evaluated evidence and reach much the same conclusions as every other freethinker. And finally, your confusing the meaning of the word theory (which is a common error.) In the scientific community there are laws and theory's, a theory will never be a law no matter true it is. So if you will, think of it as it having been the 'the theory of the theory of evolution' instead. It is in fact no longer a "theory" in the meaning to which you refer it. It is scientific fact, it is only a theory because it is not a law, if you can understand that.

You clearly didn't fully understand (or listen to) this video. The appearance of the snake is that of a designed object, but it isn't. Dawkins explains perfectly how the appearance of design results completely from natural selection. The result is, of course, something that is billions of times more complicated that the microscope but NOT designed by a higher creator.

Agreed--his zeal for biology and the passing on of his knowledge to future generations is almost unparalleled (his intelligence in the subject as well). I can definitely picture him as one of the best high school/college bio teachers in the world, but his kind, professorly voice has now been replaced with shrill, antireligious noise.
