  • Plastic Logic has been the MOST disappointing piece of vaporware EVER. For fuck's sake, sell the one's you created, don't give us your bullshit how "it just wasn't ready". Plastic Logic could literally OWN the ereader market, and they have patents on COLOR screen technology. But they keep dropping the ball. I currently use an Entourage Edge for my ereader, it works just fine for pdfs and epubs.

  • couldnt people just read real books?

  • @tikidung it's not about reading real books.... it's all about the marketing that you could carry 1000000000 book in one device.

  • How much!

    HOW MUCH!!!!

  • i definitely agree with vannilajoe.

  • the thing is fking huge tho.

  • Even Rocky wasn't sweating like that!![Rocky 4] :-P

  • Awesome, but why do all book readers larger than 6" are so pricey?? I could buy a gaming PC for 700$, or a couple of netbooks.

  • I think with Pixel Qi on the horizon, the days of eInk tablets are severely numered. I was considering a Kindle DX until I saw the Notion Ink product. Adam won't be an iPad killer but like the story in Genesis, I'm sure Adam will take a fairly hefty bite out of the Apple.

  • @drsteve0487 hey their does are pc tablets i would prefer a kindle dx why because of ink it doesnt hurt your eyes like back lit screens that is why eink is not going anyware

  • damn.. this man looks really like a pig

I would not buy anything touched by him ..

    :-)

  • 0:53 fingerprints = not attractive

  • For 700 or 800 dollars , I will pass. At that price, I'll get the ipad without flash

  • @grogtgs its a eink ereader not a tablet this is for reading not for video why would you want to read on a ipod that hurts you eyes its better eink to read

  • love the look not the price. till the price can go down and color version can come out ill stick with my 1st gen kindle.

  • @MrRightFFM it does have textmarking functions..

  • OMG this is awesome, it's like having thousands of books in one small device. And it looks like real paper : D

  • @inphrased OMG, where have you been in the last five years?

  • @fpspapasito

    Why are you asking?

  • ebooks have been in the market for years now, im just surprised that you are "surprised" abou it

  • I'm not suprised I was just "raving" over this technology because it's very userful : >

  • What I'm surprised about is that he's not jaded by it by now ;)

  • Badass. The only problem is they have to compete with Amazons Kindle and the huge selection of eBooks ( not including the ease-of-use with downloading Amazon eBooks).

This looks much nicer than the Kindle.

  • I have a kindle, and i absolutely love it

  • why do all these e-readers have a +1 inch long frame? and yes, the price is a deal pooper.

  • @gvcorp 1 inch, so that you look like a dork with this piece of furniture in your backpack.

  • No, it's so you have a surface to grab on to without accidentally interacting with the touch-enabled elements on-screen. I personally love the thought and attention they brought to this form-factor.

  • Cool.

  • its amazing:D i want more and i relly dont like reading books

  • I love this idea. Too bad I could buy a computer for the same price... bring the price point DOWN. Make them so cheap you would have to be an idiot to buy paperback books... I will be buying this second hand.

  • holy shit give him a towel .. lol

  • @deathbecomesu187 That is not sweat, it is just his head light.

  • ereaders dont seem worth it when its cheaper to get the full book 9 times outof ten
