Plastic Logic has been the MOST disappointing piece of vaporware EVER. For fuck's sake, sell the one's you created, don't give us your bullshit how "it just wasn't ready". Plastic Logic could literally OWN the ereader market, and they have patents on COLOR screen technology. But they keep dropping the ball. I currently use an Entourage Edge for my ereader, it works just fine for pdfs and epubs.
I think with Pixel Qi on the horizon, the days of eInk tablets are severely numered. I was considering a Kindle DX until I saw the Notion Ink product. Adam won't be an iPad killer but like the story in Genesis, I'm sure Adam will take a fairly hefty bite out of the Apple.
@drsteve0487 hey their does are pc tablets i would prefer a kindle dx why because of ink it doesnt hurt your eyes like back lit screens that is why eink is not going anyware
@grogtgs its a eink ereader not a tablet this is for reading not for video why would you want to read on a ipod that hurts you eyes its better eink to read
Badass. The only problem is they have to compete with Amazons Kindle and the huge selection of eBooks ( not including the ease-of-use with downloading Amazon eBooks).
No, it's so you have a surface to grab on to without accidentally interacting with the touch-enabled elements on-screen. I personally love the thought and attention they brought to this form-factor.
I love this idea. Too bad I could buy a computer for the same price... bring the price point DOWN. Make them so cheap you would have to be an idiot to buy paperback books... I will be buying this second hand.

tikidung 1 year ago
@tikidung it's not about reading real books.... it's all about the marketing that you could carry 1000000000 book in one device.

Awesome, but why do all book readers larger than 6" are so pricey?? I could buy a gaming PC for 700$, or a couple of netbooks.
