Very, very good! Beautiful! Very expressive, lyric and feminine singing which I apreciate very much in women's singing. Unfortunately, many female singers now try to sound aggressive like men to take advantage of the crowd, become too commercialized a la Bartoli (I don't mean that she is a mezzo and here it's a soprano version) but it's against a woman's nature... Thanks for uploading and sharing this video.

@henrietteschenk Thank you too for your replies and exchange of opinions. I really appreciate it too. Sometimes it happens that a soprano later becomes mezzo. The main thing for me is when I hear that an artist shares his or her soul and finds their own colours in interpretations, not trying to sound like somebody else. I hear something original in Schenk's singing and it's very appealing to me:-).

@henrietteschenk It's OK, if you love Bartoli and I don't. We don't have to agree about everything:-). I have friends who like Bartoli too and e.g. Philippe Jaroussky whom I can't stand as he is not a CT as he is presented but just a FALSETTIST who is an example of this ambiguity in men's singing. I think we use this word in a bit different meaning. I know this Sacrificium and can't stand this commercialization about Bartoli who began as a promising singer but ended up just a commercial.Sorry:-)
Yes, I mean the general ambiguity of an image which, as I would like to fantasize)), was very natural for castrati. Castrati really fascinate me so when I hear smth really close to them - well to my ideas how they could sound - like Max Cencic (or Bartoli for that matter), I immediately get very inspired )))
@henrietteschenk You know, about Bartoli we can argue in a civilized way:-). But concerning Cencic we have so much in common:-). Actually, he is one of my very favourite CTs, perhaps number 2 or 3. I like his voice very much, and usually I prefer more masculine CT voices like Spanos, Lemos, Lesne and I also don't find his technique the finest one, e.g. all those and Taylor, White have smoother technique, less vibrato, and Cencic's voice is more effeminate but he is so GREAT! I admire him!:-)
I absolutely adore him. Even in spite of his... well, let's call it delicately a rather tasteless choice of outfits, but here I really need to collect my thoughts to provide a well-developed opinion 'cause it's already night here and I am somewhat confused...(( You wouldn'r happen to have a FB or a LJ, would you? ))
@henrietteschenk Here I absolutely agree with you. It's an exception if Cencic wears something nice and not that extravagant!:-). Well, not because he is gay, but just the way he is. Actually, many CTs wear something extravagant at their recitals, but he is too original:-). I prefer something more traditional but see through it, already trained to do it, otherwise I can just miss great singing because of weird outfits:-). Sorry, I'm just a fan, and I'm Yana.
