@shejean I actually co-wrote this song with Rhett Akins who had a top single with it in 96. Chad Brock had a suspiciously similar song released three to four years following ours .Clay recorded this sometime before appearing on American Idol.

OK--I made a boo-boo. I thought people were saying this was played DURING DWTS.-- I know they use live singers on the program. I did not realize Clay's actual recording was used just for this montage. I have listened to this recording of Clay's many, many times since it was 'found'!! One of my favorite demos of his. I always wondered why he didn't release many of his amazing demos after AI--perfect recordings; especially Hold Me, Thrill Me, Kiss Me!!!

Not a country fan, but always liked Clay's version of She Said Yes. He sings it in such an honest way, no tuning or embellishments.

This is NOT Clay singing--so how can this be a 'Clay Aiken song'?? This song was not originated by Clay. Clay is my number one male singer-and has been ever since he was on AI2. Brad Paisley wrote this and a Chad Brock recorded it-I am sure sometime before Clay did. I LOOOOVE Clay's version of this song and also would love DWTS to ask him to come on and perform any of his songs. I always wonder why they haven't, since he has released many CDs in the past years and was on Broadway.
