That was nice work :P i love the use of the blurred particles, the 3D animation of the beast thingy was a tad juddery. 4:34 reminds me of the film sunshine lols
So good tho i wouldnt know where to start on making stuff like this, in time i can see your work looking much more polished and sooooo photorealistic.
@JuicyMixFilms Glad you enjoyed it :) Yes I agree, unfortunately I am no animator, and the robot spider thing was put in there to pick up marks. It doesn't fit and kinda ruins the film. We all use Final Cut Pro to edit, you start out on Premiere. Trust me, if you're doing animation you'll be picking it up in no time. You have to keep me posted on your work, I imagine I'll be working with plenty of animators in the future ;)
@ribenawrath awhhh damn that means i have to get a Mac, is Final Cut nice to use, i dont really wanna use Premiere Pro i used it all through college and just think its meh... Sony Vegas Pro FTW :P
and yeah i'll be sure to keep in contact mate :)
@JuicyMixFilms FCP is confusing to begin with, but if you've used a NLE before then you'll love it. Very unrestrictive way of working. You don't have to get a mac, if you like vegas use that! But FCP is becoming an industry standard so it's a good idea to get used to it. It will make working on After Effects easier too, as it's timeline based.
Great work Dan. One of the most ambitious student shorts I have seen but it payed off beautifully in its epic vision. Would love to collaborate with you some time. Good luck in the future. joegolby.com

beautifull.
this is what Sci-Fi is all about. Social commentary, and human behavior.
i hate sci-fi pure action movies like transformers.
but this is just wonderfull. Beautifull visuals and i love the score very much and of course the plot. very inspirational :)
this is Sci-Fi greatness along with something on a Philip K. Dick level so i have to say that your work impresses me very much sir !

Like the look of this piece. Over all really nice work! Love to see the breakdowns of some of the shots and the use of virtual sets.
