It's sad that even on CNN, there is absolutely no mention of the fact that being associated with atheists shouldn't even be considered slander.

The way Brown and everyone else in the mainstream media talk, even on the most liberal networks, anyone would think atheists were akin to terrorists. What exactly have atheists done to deserve such hatred?

Yes, it's a false accusation, but as Powell said, "So what?" Even if she was an atheist, so what?

Hey Campbell, you're right, Dole is egregious. But remember when you said, "so what if he were muslim"? The same thing can be said here, "who cares if she is an atheist, even if she isn't." The hatred by the christian right towards those of us who do not believe in the iron age mythology called American christianity is the real scandal here.
