  • Heavens to Murgatroid! Thanks for posting! Very interesting. The roles played in the movie by Taylor and Burron (whose given last name was Jenkins) were played on Broadway by Tallulah Bankhead and Tab Hunter. And Noel Coward's character in the film is called "The Witch of Capri". Odd...I thought a male witch was a warlock. No matter...it's a cool clip !!!

  • this is such a lovely lovely editing...just awesome.. wish I could watch this movie, you made me so excited about it :) :/

  • Beautiful job done here. I never saw the movie but I remain fascinated by "Liz & Dick" to this day. They were, to me, the Hollywood's greatest love affair. Both beautiful and talented and passionate. I really love how the light reflects in her eyes at the end. I know a man who saw Elizabeth many, many years ago when she was in town to film a movie, and he said that she had no makeup on at all but was still stunningly beautiful.

  • Do you remember Michael Dunn, the dwarf who appeared in Boom with Elizabeth Taylor? There is a really good biography out about Michael. It is called The Big Life of a Little Man: Michael Dunn Remembered and it is available at amazon.com for those of you who are interested in a great read about an amazing man. Rest in peace, Ms. Taylor.

  • Thank you Elizabeth Taylor.RIP.

  • Best View today

  • Fucking awful movie which flopped big time.

  • Hi Yiota!

I still love watching this video! :)

do you have any new videos in the work?

    Love:

    Karin,

  • I love this movie and I loved the clip you've made Yiota Pam. It's great to see people today appreciating the older stars, especially Taylor & Burton, the greatest movie couple ever.

  • Isn't she fabulous? Aren't they fabulous? A great costume and seascape aura. That view from Capri. My favourite spot. Noel Coward... Very 60's! Do you remember the other side of the coin movie she made near this location with the see-through swimsuit embarrassment? Thanks for posting this YiotaPam.

  • Beautiful Video. Thanks for sharing.

I love Richard and Elizabeth they were beautiful together. I loved all their movies.

  • I saw this movie when it first came out in the summer of 1968, in San Antonio, Texas. Managed to find a bootleg dvd about a year ago. Synchronicity: When I first came (for 6 months) to Kauai in 1971, I met Horward Taylor, Liz Taylor's brother, who played the guy on the boat who threw Burton's stuff in the water. I used to describe and quote the last scene in the movie when I was romancing the ladies. Like Chris Flanders, my degree was in Philosophy and I've written poetry. Back on Kauai.

  • @kauaiphil where is the house in the movie ?? i want to visit so bad.

  • Very nice!

  • Awful film.

  • ....stop here Anymore". Awful. Williams had lost his touch. It was a grotesque egotrip for la Liz and Burton.

  • This is a film version of The Milk Train Doesn't Stop Here, is it? I'd love to see the film as I'm a big Tennessee Williams fan.

  • Yes, it is.

Williams thought that "Boom" was the best adaptation of all of his plays.

  • I must try and see it then!

  • Me too but this? UGH! BAAAAAD!

  • beautiful. good job

  • what was great about this movie ?

i didn't understand anything out of it !

i need help from someone who loves it and understands it.

  • It's the story of an old beauty who's about to die, but refuses to admit it. She acts like if it was all lies and she was alright. Then she met Chris Flanders, aka the Angel of Death, who's got the strange habit to come to old women who are about to die. It's funny because Sissy Goforth is gonna try to seduce him, but will never succeed. At the end, she dies.

I loved it because the play is pretty ironic. I loved the way Sissy and Chris talked :)

  • This video is really cool. I love it

  • Can somebody please send me a torrent of this movie as well, since it is out of print, I would love to see this!

  • Hi Rich,

I think it's amazing you've never seen Boom. You are really in for a treat as Elizabeth is amazing in this movie! ;)

  • It is top on my list now.:-)

  • Thanks for dedicating this new video partly to me Yiota. That was sweet of you! :)

I think you used some amazing special effects on this video and managed to capture some of the movie's mystery. If I hadn't seen this movie already I'd be really intrigued by your trailer and would want to see what it was all about...

I like the sound of the wind blowing in the beginning too...

Keep up the great work I love your Elizabeth & Richard videos. :)

  • Thank you so much for you kind words my friend! I'm so glud you like it! As for the sound of the wind blowing is actually from the song I used(Candles by Within Temptation) from which I only took the first minute because I thought it feet with the whole concept of the film.:)

Anw, I'm very anxious to see your video about "Who's afraid of Virginia Woolfs". It's going to be amazing I'm sure. =^)

    YiotaPam

  • Thanks Yiota, my Virginia Woolf video is finally done. :)

Also I think I'll have to buy a CD with "Within Temptation" some day they seem to have a lot of great music. :)
