Im 13 and im playing thise for my exam soon *so neverous* plz Mr. Cello journy, can you give me any tips so I can reach into the depths and hardness of a distinction. I find it weird how the cello jumps into play through the pianos part it seems weird, especcialy when your playing it but I have to say, that was a ffantastic recording. Oh and I also can't lean back and wobble my head with my eyes closed it make me dizzy, LOL. but plz, give me some tips.

Very good performance, dialog between instruments is almost perfec, very clear and expressive.

I wish this had been an actual recording in a studio. It was excellent, buy I would have miked the cello a bit closer to really hear it. The piano was very audible, slightly overshadowing the cello, but not because of the pianist's playing but because of the acoustics. Perhaps recording in a bathroom with the piano closed half-way? LOL

it sounds nice, but while listening, no emotion is ovious, its boring, try to take time to enjoy playing it, and slow down, do vibrato on each note , even on the fast ones, enjoy and listen to each note not only to 2 of 4

hat is the name for style of playing where the bow glides across the 4 strings playing broken chords lightly / sometimes can sound 'scratchy'? does it have a name? how do you write it? how difficult is it to play?

secondly, in order to play broken chords easily and in a flowing manner, what are the chord positions / inversions?

I played this on clari!! I love it, great job on cello by the way. I remember it sounded so different after I heard the piano part, like the whole mood changed.

The Stalhammer is not that necessary. I would get a bow first.

It is a Stalhammer. It makes the cello feel lighter and more comfortable to hold.
