I don't know, those two vocal parts on the album always seemed to me pretty much equal, hard to tell which is the "lead" one... And I also think Stipe harmonizes with himself on the album. Anyway, such an underrated song!
Totalmente de acuerdo contigo. Esta es una de mis preferidas del Document. Y los altibajos les han acompañado siempre, solo en pocos álbumes han conseguido cuadrar casi por completo. En mi opinion estos álbumes serian "Murmur" y "Out of Time". (desde Cataluña)
this song is the one that made me love rem for many reasons.Stipe sounds like a prophet in a cave and the music ,like a distant tragedy...I cannot find words.thank u is not enough.
Bill left the band in 1997 after having a brain aneurysm and became a farmer. He still occasionally plays with them but he's no longer part of the group.

One year after Kurt´s death, i guess Michael was on a depression mixed with natural anger. Great performance indeed.

Es una de las pequeñas delicias de Document (un disco con algunos altibajos). Sencillez y un viaje pop reconfortante.

A very special sound. One of my favorite REM songs, though little hit potential.

The new drummer's also called Bill is what I mean.
toyoboeIII 3 years ago 2
Indeed, but he ain't half as good. I mean, he'd be a good jazz drumer but not a great rocker like Waronker or good ol'Unibrow;)
qba5775 3 years ago 2
Man if you don't think Rieflin is as good as Waronker or Berry then you have a screw loose.
