  • WHERE THE HELL IS MIKE MILLS!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Wish Bill Berry didn't quit so soon!

  • @bassmanjoe so soon? Berry was with REM since 1980-1996

  • @djorganic Yeah i know! I wish he didn't quit back in the 90's.

  • never has so much been done with an open D chord

  • Classic R.E.M.

  • Peter Buck, one of the most underrated guitarists ever!

  • This would've been Right before Berry dropped the bomb?

  • no. berry had brain accident in Feb. 1995 in Switzerland :)

  • One year after Kurt´s death, i guess Michael was on a depression mixed with natural anger. Great performance indeed.

  • What is this song about?

  • Imperialism.

  • Thank you! Finally someone answers me.

  • i am sorry. i did not know answer :)

  • I wish he would have sang the original melody and have had someone harmonize like its done on the album document.

  • I don't know, those two vocal parts on the album always seemed to me pretty much equal, hard to tell which is the "lead" one... And I also think Stipe harmonizes with himself on the album. Anyway, such an underrated song!

  • awesome song

  • Amazing.

En mi opinion estos álbumes serian "Murmur" y "Out of Time". (desde Cataluña)

  • Fav REM song along with bang and blame...

  • A very special sound. One of my favorite REM songs, though little hit potential.

  • this song is the one that made me love rem for many reasons.Stipe sounds like a prophet in a cave and the music ,like a distant tragedy...I cannot find words.thank u is not enough.

  • You are very welcome. :)

  • another great nugget shared...thanks!

  • You are very welcome. :)

  • You can still see Bill on drums now, duh.

  • Bill left the band in 1997 after having a brain aneurysm and became a farmer. He still occasionally plays with them but he's no longer part of the group.

  • The new drummer's also called Bill is what I mean.

  • Indeed, but he ain't half as good. I mean, he'd be a good jazz drumer but not a great rocker like Waronker or good ol'Unibrow;)

  • Man if you don't think Rieflin is as good as Waronker or Berry then you have a screw loose.

  • hahaha didn't rieflin play with ministry? thats not too jazzy if you ask me...

  • always nice to Bill on drums.

  • Nice to see Bill on drums!!
