  • I use to use to arch until I almost killed my girlfriend with an arrow.... We both were taking classes and she dropped a arrow in front.of me while I was about to shoot...after that I gave up for a while

  • my peep sight broke offf when i fired it but i ddint dry fire what do i do?

  • Thank you for the instruction by risking dry fire anyway .

I hate modern bow . but i like you .

  • Thanks for the instruction !

Now i know how modern archers cheat ...

  • @Omianto I'm guessing you didn't realize how flawed your comment was. :P

  • @mechaspark1 I'm still not... honestly... :C

  • I used to be able to shoot a bow, but then I took an arrow in the knee.

  • he has a fucking bandaid

  • @thebomb1273 lol, thats a worry. XD

  • I;ve learned NOT to trust self declared "experts" on this.

  • You can draw back a bow with a release aid without an arrow if your not a moron. Its not hard. Just don't put your finger anywhere near the trigger. to dry fire the bow you have to pull the trigure. HE does not pull the trigure in this video. also, He is aiming at a camera guy so im glad he doesnt have an arrow nocked.

  • good thing he said not 2 draw the string back and fire dry like the above thingy says like someone would ever do that if they learn from a more then .50c booklet

  • Please don't make videos if you can't speak English.

  • reply to me how many pounds your bow is det to if u got one

  • but i have a homemade wooden one

  • i don't understand Asian English. This video needs subtitles

  • most of us don't have a bow from the 31st century

  • @Strikerklm96

    its the 21st century?

  • thats rasic put subtitles on the asian dude.

  • yeah and lets all go back to the horse and cart.

i dont see the problem with a refined bow that allows much higer accuracy at long ranges.. Or a bow that you can pull back and hold it there for ages,

Plus ofcourse you can just take the sights off and shoot pot luck,

without sights on a fresh target at unknown range almost nobody will hit a target first time without sigts.. it's like artilery before map co-ords were used.. you have to trail & error find your distance to target 4 Lobbin

  • Thats not a bow

  • doesnt anyone have a real bow these days, they all are a bunch of machines!!!!!!!

  • @Armyboypyro well the way i see it its basicly if you have a stick of wood with some string and you can hit the target.not bullseye but hit the paper you are better than the worlds best with all the fancy gadgets.

anyone can cook when given the recipie and anyone can hit bullseyes when the bow has a fucing peep sight.

hell as soon as i seen he had the sight i just turned off this vid

  • @blanbproductionshd ha ja, it takes real skill to aim down the arrow and hit the bulls eye with no aimer

  • I remember my first compund - got a new one, gave the old one to a archery trainer for youth hunters, what does the idiot do? 2 days after me giving up the bow he dryfires it at full pull "To demonstrate" to some students.. wire snapped and slashed his face open, 12 stitches... + he sewed me!... ass... but fuck that! I won the charge.. sucker..

  • @OmiantoThere are too many experts in the world!

  • @Omianto .....What?

  • @Omianto what a fucking idiot you never dryfire a bow especially a compound!

  • @CamperzHappy some people just need to learn the hard way...

  • I don't have a compund bow!

What kind of a tutorial are you doing?

  • Comment removed

  • Did he have a arrow in? Your not supposed to dry shoot!

  • hummmmm... ironic an indian is teaching people how to kill africans...

  • @satisfucktion1 hahahw tf

  • next time get someone that can speak good english

  • wow when can we get americans to teach us some stuff!

  • @peytonbrown44 Seriously... why look up/click a video TEACHING you how to use a bow and arrow if you're gonna complain?

  • lol 10/20 yard pin should be one pin not seperate unless your bow is under 40lb lol

  • @cupplm yeah your bow should shoot pretty flat between ten and 20 yards

  • i wonder how that chinaman learn to count 1. 2. 3. 4. .5 CHINAMAN !!!

  • @peytonbrown44 then why were you watchin the video dumbass

  • howcast ftw

  • at least they dont say "uhh..go to your pro shop and they will tell you what to do" like all their other vids

  • ERRONEOUS!!!

  • gay u dushes suck ass

  • 1:12 Lol the subtitles say "...drive far a bow...." when I believe he said dry fire.

  • that isnt a bow anymore id say

just order or make an longbow and try that

  • ahaha, expert ? I don't know, I'm in it only since 3 years but the bow isn't straigh, and it seems he is fucking shaking, even if use 70 pounds is cool, you must use the power you can control :P

  • Sounds like he says dry fire not drive far

  • @MrFoxtror its suposed to say dry fire

  • can you hunt rabbit with field heads

  • yea i think

  • U can hunt rabbits with field points if u like, but i would recommend Bludgeon points. When hunting small game its better to use points that cause blunt trauma not puncture.

  • @hegaross you can shoot a rabbit with any head. i field tip will be hard to find if you miss or pass thru though can it will skip way off and gone, i like to use the "Judo" tips for rabbits and birds.

  • i used wooden bow and arrows

  • i use just one pin

  • god dang ... that bow must be slow ... i have a lights out compound (72 lbs) .. i use my higest pin from 15 to 47 yrds ....

  • I'd rather have an accurate bow than a fast one

  • well i rather have both ....i get 2 inch groups at 35-40 yrds....

  • fucking geico commercial.

  • hahaahha i got a fucking pistachio commercial hahahah .....

  • lol

  • looks like he has to take a shit!

  • I hate Expert Village!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • He learned from killing monkeys in the phiilipines lol

  • any one trying to learn to shoot a bow dont listen to this guy!

  • haha i know i watched these villagers. did a course at my club and i was like expert village u are so wrong -.-

  • lol at you charlie you know fuck all

  • one thing is that you dont keep a close hand that why he is shaking

  • this was a fail

  • does any1 have a guide on targets sight usage i mean competitiong sight intructions

  • hey Charlie its Zoe from Karate. i wish you would teach more at karate!

    PEACE

  • Man...If it's one thing you NEVER do, it's pull your bow back with a release and no arrow in the bow...While explaining what to do, he's showing you a VERY BIG NO NO.

  • that is what he says in the end

  • No, he said "don't fry fire a bow, it could break and could be harzardous". I'm saying, don't EVER draw a bow without an arrow in the first place...especially if you're going to tape it and put it on YouTube as an "instructional" video. It's very easy to accidentally touch the trigger when drawing, or already at full draw.

  • your stupid!

  • @ZarkSniper he was avoiding having to shoot the camera man.

  • @ZarkSniper y is that? does it fuck the string up or sumthin?

  • @BigxXxBoy It causes the string to travell to fast and no energy is going into an arrow so it goes straight to the limbs. This can cause the limbs to shtter like a carbon fiber arrow if you bend it till it breaks.

  • @bowtechbrando thank you, it had said that on the panflet i got with mine and i was like wtf and remembered your comment hahaa

  • @ZarkSniper why is it a no no??? just asking cuz i wanna know more about bow hunting :)

  • @iggvf say for instance the release fails or the trigger snaps, then the bow will fire. If the bow is dry fired, the string could come off and break the cam wheels, or could snap and hit you in the face. Basically, when a bow is dry fired, the bow has the possibility of breaking. You've got to think, where is all that force going to dissapate to when there's nothing for the string to push; it will go through the string, the limbs, the cam, etc and push it beyond its limits.

  • @masentka oh ok thx :)

  • @ZarkSniper does it break the bow or something?

  • @ZarkSniper pulling it back doesnt hurt the bow its just dry fireing it

  • @rngepkn33b but releases have a tendency to go off without warning...

  • @YukonOutdoors That may be the case if you have an inexpensive release but better quality releases have a mechanism, usually a screw, that allows you to adjust the sensitivity

  • @xxir0nmanxx I have a Tru Ball Beast... It's just like how you don't load a gun indoors; there's no blatant risk, you just shouldn't do it.

  • @ZarkSniper whY? b/c of a possible dry fire? If thats the only reason thats a bit silly, I do it all the time. I would rather dry fire it/miss fire and maybe hurt myself than pull back and miss fire an arrow.

  • @ZarkSniper It's called dryfiring. My idiot brother did that once to my Hoyt Easton Compound Bow once, and the friggin' thing EXPLODED!!!!!

  • @Kaffyboy I know what it is, i have been competing for over 20 years.

  • @ZarkSniper. I am no archer myself so I speak softly here, but isn´t aiming at the camera man with an arrow attached the equivalent of aiming a loaded gun?

  • @ZarkSniper what? He didn't dry fire, he even says to not to in the end. It is OK to draw the string as long as you don't fire, that's how ppl measure draw length

  • @ZarkSniper hes not doing it, he even says not to do it - so whats ur problem?

  • Can anyone suggest a good bow that is for beginners and intermidiates which is under 100 Dollars?

  • you can get a new one for 200 dollars so good luck finding one

  • go with a $70 fiberglass re-curve. they look bad but r ok 2 play around with. if u want to take archery and further, ull have 2 be prepared to spent at least $200 on just a bow.

hope it heillped and strait shooting, tjwilt

  • For me that fucking anti-aircraft "bow is to much, to....gordious.Where is pleasure in shooting a simple bow, maybe not a recurve, but a simple bow used for archery, not those spacelike bows that look like you can drill threw a car from 60 yards....

  • 2shaepussycat. Whats wrong with letting people shoot what they want? If you like to shoot recurves or older style compounds thats fine. dont begrudge other people for shooting what they like. alot of archers and bowhunters eventually come full circle and wind up going back to more traditional tackle anyway. leave em alone

  • Excellent video explaining the proper used of a bow. 5 points.

  • WTF...im looking for basic beginner stuff...like why start with a recurve?, basic body position, how to hold and let go of the arrow?..really simple stuff, not this crazy $800 bow with stabilizers, double-cam with light-up wrist guard and "drop-off" something-or-another..wtf is a whisker biscuit??speaking of "whisker biscuits", i have my wife wait down by the target so she can bring the arrows back to me..would she be safer hiding behind the target or off to the side?

  • definitley dont let her sit behind the target because sometimes you will have an arrow pass completley thru the target and well that would not be a great place to be sitting when that happens

  • a wisker biscuit is an arrow rest that is basically a cirlce with a bunch of hairs that all point into the center, it has a slot that you load the arrow into then the hairs hold the arrow in the middle. look it up on google images, best rest out there ive heard

  • it depends if your wife is the target or not

  • fucken moron

  • hay charly i watched your video did exacly what you said to do and my 7,000 dolla bow is screwd it looks like michale jackson melested it i guss ill buy an other one

  • Is charly a pinoy

    (Filipino)

  • it seems like charly got his finga bit by somebody, maybe his little brotha

  • i wonder if he shot his finger? lol

  • Charly Sucks

  • if ur beginning archery guys this is my 2 second month get urself a good recurve or compound i got a legit compound dont get one of those ones for 80 bucks

  • if you are hunting with a bow and you are just a beginner...the dumbest thing you could do is not to get a good peep sight and good fiber optic pins

  • you're all idiots

  • i could just do with a good old longbow, bows like the one this guy has are just too confusing. though simple compound bows are cool, big complicated ones like that just go overboard

  • Like a Beginner has that type of bow.

    Mines a recurve

I have only been doing archery for 2 months and I don't need a sight.

  • get a compound they r better

  • does anyone know what kind of sight that is? that looks legit

  • lol you think that beginner archers got that kind of bow?!?!?

  • yeah.. exactly, thats like a real nice hunting bow

  • lol he says " never dry fire a bow without an arrow" well its a bit hard to dry fire a bow WITH an arrow isnt it?? lol

  • Oh, a wiseguy.

  • lol but hes right!

  • peep sights defeat the point of "aiming" in archery

  • Peep sight?! Whatz that...

  • how can u not know how to use a peep sight

  • i dont have a peep sight

  • most people dont have them lol

  • yes Never dry fire i let my sisters boyfriend see how hard it was to pull back my compound bow and he dryfired and broke the peep sight

  • yea thanks. when i got my first bow i dry fired and a day later it snapped in half. lol
