  • This is one of the most remarkable speeches I have ever heard in my life. It was absolutely brilliant. I have no words.

  • Great, great speech.

  • Even in our sleep, pain that cannot forget falls drop by drop upon the heart until in our despair and against our will, comes wisdom from the awful grace of god.

  • this kind of ppl dont live long in america. they must assasinated. eq- kennedy, malcorn x, martyn ludher king, thats mean america is hell

  • One of the very few people who was ahead of his time. He would have put the U.S on the course of greatness! Even when he was laying in a pool of blood all he could say was that if everyone was okay. His name will echo an eternity

  • Sadly, politicians of this calibre are gone; replaced with dumb-ass puppets.

  • Please Come back

  • The amazing part is that this speech is impromptu, no teleprompters. The police did NOT want RFK there, and pregnant Ethel (#11, Rory) left for her safety. Note that there were NO riots in Indianapolis that evening. When someone speaks from the heart and sincerely and personally, people notice.

I also noticed the parallel construction from much of the speech.

  • What this world need is a hero that doesn't get assassinate, every time when people try to make a change, and the people that fear of human progress will hunt those that is trying to make a change. What we need is a reform world gearing to a new world.

  • @Undyinglove i agree

  • Thank you!

  • People like this, people with heart, soul, courage, is what a country needs, no sheeple, no dictators, just real people for the people.

  • This speech although perfect for the situation at hand, applies to everyone else in the world. If mankind would just love one another and have patience, respect, and, joy. We wouldn't have hate or division. We could live our lives the way we want to without being judged or persecuted in the same way Martin Luther Kind and Robert Kennedy did.. If either one of them wasn't filled with love and peace neither one would be immortalized in our great Nations History.

  • this needs to be hole over the world !

  • What's with the music?? I know it's a good speech, but it's not neccessary, can't really get the message when there is background noise.

  • @piknictable Really? I actually feel like the music accentuated the raw impact and emotion the speech had.

  • Its really sad how people who try to bring other people together are always killed

  • great video. what the name of the song????

  • i miss when people spoke from there hearts and not from a teleprompter

  • This video is fantastic. Well done in adding this spine-chilling music piece in. It really makes a massive difference. I can't believe this video only has 108,000 views. It really deserves more.

  • so appropriate considering the times....... the extreme right wing is so blood thirsty and is makes me sick..... "make gentle the life of this world"

  • Kennedy was the only right one

  • if you haven't already seen this, i suggest you watch it watch?v=DXCONIKJ0Hk

  • @noseyparka13 the great dictator is a brillant film

  • Awesome, genuine, and sincere to making progress. Understanding in its purest form.

  • Greatest speech i've ever heard. I've always thought of Americans as idiots but I can tell this was a great man ._.

  • @hatzblue this speech is about dropping generalizations to move towards understandings, a united people. An d here you are prejudicing more than 350 million people simple because of probably a deep misunderstanding based on ignorance, but i guess its all them that are the real idiots

  • @hatzblue As the majority of my nation fills it self with Mcdonalds and Jerry Springer , the selcet few, who hold true to the ideals set forth by gentleman such as this, sit in just as much disgust of oursleves as you do. Just know that we are here, and we agree with you, how sad we have become......

  • A great speech indeed...

  • WHAT SONG

  • @regergekowns Surface of the Sun by John Murphy

  • If only there was a presidential candidate today that could quote Aeschylus.

  • whats the music playing, sounds simlar to his eulogy music in a simlar viedo..

  • @crusader037972 I think it's called Kaneda's death part 2 by John Murphy

  • @pikzarproductions thanks...it is rather haunting...

  • such a sad day ..i wish i could have met him ..he was a hero

  • I'm sure the Reich Wing had nothing to do with these assassinations.

Great leaders taken from us because of ignorance, hate and greed.

  • I think this has been asked before, but I never saw an answer: What is the music being used here? At first I thought it was from Moon but that can't be right. An answer would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

  • @alexvillabona Sunshine (Adagio In D Minor, that's what it is.

  • In case you would care make a spanish subtitled copy of your greatest speech video, you can use the translation in the comments, no copyright needed.

  • This Speech, Touched my heart. Luckly i'm doing a speech this year. I will do one just like that. With heart and sole! This is a epic speech!

  • A great American, whose heart was in the right place and whose message stemmed from what is right with America, not with what may be wrong with America.

  • i almost fucking cried on how powerful this speech was, and further the meaning of Luther King's message to the world

  • where the fuck are you Mr. Black? :-( Those copyright obsessed cunts Youtube have forced him to go away forever.

  • how did 37 people dislike this?

  • Another great President of America. If every American was like him then America would be a very Peaceful and Equal place to be in.

  • Watched the final episode of " The Kennedy's" the other night, it managed to miss out M.L.Kings assassination and this famous speech as well as the "mindless menace of violence speech Bobby made on the day after Martins assassination, so no credit for trying to hold America from ripping itself apart during those difficult days. The writers need educating big time!!!

  • moving...fills us with hope and love. the human machines who feel no love and act so coldly will never understand these things.

  • That's some deep shit. And Mr.Black please do come back to giving us the REAL weekly news because fox just isn't.

  • there are words and thoughts that do not fit into your left-right paradigm. words and thoughts that reveal truth and love and compassion. liberty, freedom, justice, acceptance, compassion, neighbour. when will america stop thinking of dividing everything into left and right and start using the great words again?

  • america kills most of its best and truly great heroes. lincoln, jfk, robert kennedy, martin luther king. very sad.

  • @UpstairsMaid It's a good question, why we as people can do such a thing.

  • This man stood for America and risked his life for what's right. Obama will never get it he will always be a complete coward.

  • @charly23HD If the American people would stop shoveling the concentrated bullshit spewed out by the corporate media in to their mouths something like that might happen one day, but unfortunately, more people tend to care about what Lohan is up to now a days rather than this. Which is sad considering they have too go about life as a complete moron

  • (I hope the band got paid). - "...those among YOU who are black..." Hey, why not: '...those among US who are black...'? Great speech? I don't think so.

  • @patrickcon1 Taking something out of context and emphasizing something that was not intended helps no one. Robert was indicating that people that were black would have very negative feelings for people who were white because of MLK being shot by a white man. It is very similar to quite a few Americans feeling angry toward Muslims after September 11th, even if it was only a small amount of radical extremists. Whenever there is an incident like that, one party has negativity toward another.

  • @patrickcon1 he speeched in front of thousands of black people... so what would you say

  • I love this man, Bobby would had made a wonderful President!

  • I've never heard this speech before, thank you so!!! Truly a great speech!

  • As I flip through the comments, trying to name of the song, I can't believe a few of the people I see and their comments. And I don't mean people talking about race issues and other stuff. It's the people who support this message, but then turn and say '29 people can suck my cock'.

They don't seem to understand what Martin Luther King was about. Not at all. To quote MLK himself:

"Hate cannot drive out hate; only love can do that".

    Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.

    Strength To Love, 1963

  • @ThePitofSidLord

    Amen!

  • You know im only 23 and a conservative from tx but I love Bobby Kennedy he was passionate and cared about this country we live in to the core. What he says applies today we dont need this division that we have in this country. He was taken too early I believe he wouldve been one of the best presidents this country had ever seen. Nobody talks like this anymore. I hope one day we can see Bobbys dreams for this country come to pass.

  • That is the most beautiful monument.....

  • i lol'd

  • whats the name of the song?

  • I cried while watching this video.

  • People try to associate Bobby Kennedy with the sins of his father and brothers. I dont give a damn what Joseph or Jack did. Bobby was one of the few men in history that had it all right. If people are too ignorant to see that, then America hasnt changed one bit.

  • whats the name of the music which plays in this great speech in the background ? can someone tell me the name ?

  • Comment removed

  • What is a mom-u-ment?

  • This gets me every time. The quotes is very appropriate. You fight the feeling and truth behind his words if you have a true grasp of the situation and atmosphere that he - along with America - was in at that time whether white or black, but inevitably comes wisdom, and you may know in your heart that he was right then, and he is right now.

  • beautiful and moving

  • Amazing speech, The Kennedy Brothers were the greatest thing in American politics in the modern era and both were assassinated...go figure

  • The music sort of kills the reality of the speech IMO.

  • the anniversary is today.

  • why do they always kill the good guys? the assholes seem to live forever.

  • the Kennedy's are greatly missed in modern politics. And in videos like this we easily see why.

  • I love this speech. Thank you for posting it. The words from 3:10-3:30 in the speech are so well crafted and spoken. Brilliant.

  • @PolkMoney863

    Ur mum

  • @PolkMoney863 Thanks assholes! xD

But yes, you're right. As therealweeklynews has stated in a video, most high viewed videos didn't get there honestly. youtube choses who becomes famous.

    GRR..

  • Such a good spech

  • i almost cried too... :(

  • Nearly Cried :')

  • Sixty-one thousand views? that's all? Come on guys, lets spread this video around some more.

  • “He who learns must suffer, and even in our deep pain that cannot forget

falls drop by drop upon the heart, and in our own despair, against our will,

comes wisdom to us by the awful grace of God”

    - Escalus

  • @shirye you sick bastard go die

  • I got the 1337 like :D, love this speech, why do even ppl dislike this video!?

  • i killed him.

  • if u dislike this amazing speech, giving me goosebumps, you are a terrorist....

  • why even bother to dislike this?

  • hahaha everything is moving when you put music like this behind it.

  • Beautiful speech...

  • Dam, it is giving me goosebumps, what music is this?

  • @TrcDK Its off the movie Kick-ass in the scene where hit girl tries to rescue big daddy, its a reworked version of the score from sunshine by composer john murphy.

  • Dam, it is giving me goosebumbs, what music is this?

  • What a movung and inspiring speech

  • 29 people can suck my dick

  • @MrBigbalbowski : Rofl.. nice1!

  • @MrBigbalbowski : Rofl.... nice 1!

  • @chintan2028 thank you! but now that i look at the current results.......... 32 people can lick my balls

  • exteremely good 1

  • Hola desde España, Buenisimo RFK, Nos hace falta un lider asi aqui en Madrid.

    saludos y un abrazo, M

  • gaarannja

God said "I will take your leaders from you."

We have forsaken the God who has blessed us. We have trampled upon his laws, and worship other gods. I believe that God has now begun his punishment of us.

We are corrupt from the head to the foot. We do evil and call it good. We despise those who stand for moral virtue. We do unto others 'before' they can do it to us.

And we are removing God from our nation. So why wouldn't God punish us as a nation. When did we last win a war? WW2.

  • @BrianWheatley69 Your so gay

  • @xMCxHaVok

    No! I am hetero.

Why respond with such an inane comment?

Your intellect is obviously challenged by a reasonable comment.

The first word in your response should have read 'You're'

  • @BrianWheatley69 I will not devote my intelligence nor my punctuation and grammar to a person that believes that a magic being is killing our leaders. I stick to my original statement 'Your so gay".

  • Where have all the good men gone?

  • how can we have not been shown this ALL throughout years of history class??? this is inspiring.

  • i'm not from america, and this is still one of the most inspiring things i've ever seen.

  • I don't know how someone could dislike this video why because it is something that no matter what country your in is true racism is a horrible thing and what martin luther king stood for was something good

  • this give me the jitters cause its so so true and the words just flow perfectly from his mouth, and he is so right. that day that he gave that speech probly directed are nation in the area we are now may god rest this mans soul.

  • 29 people can go to hell

  • It's touching. I think I cried a little while watching this. How come we don't have as great as people today as we did back then? It sucks! Dick Cheney is such a dick, Rush Limbaugh is an asshole, and George W. Bush is 16 times the terrorist that Osama Bin laden ever was and ever will be. Being a strong democrat, I say Obama isn't a good president because of these people paying him to do more conservative things. Also, don't you just hate it how the rich are in power? More money = good for them.

  • does anybody know the name of the song?

  • I agree with the videos title.

  • main point I don't want a crooked government I don't like butt hurt fags crying about Boeing AH-64 Apache strikes when we are in a war blowing up terrorist. Of course there may be innocent casualties don't leave stupid ass comments on the video saying that's so mean to blow up terrorists when they blow them selves up constantly over in that crazy ass country. If everybody could be healthy and not starving I would be happy but It's not that easy and its not entirely all Americas fault.

  • @igotthatsnowmayn dude shut the fuck up if you want to bitch about america don't do it on this video. thats just rude.

  • i think it was great that we captures Saddam Hussein though hopefully Osama bin Laden is already dead

  • yes and I know America has its great minds to along with prestige universities not everybody is ignorant in America, but I disagree a lot with the way our government and laws work.

  • 1) America = imperialist 2) America has way to strict of laws 3) bunch of fat fucks eating McDonald's 4) To many ignorant morons spread across the country side along with gun ho cops enforcing the outlandish laws. I am ashamed to call my self a American with the kind of crap that goes on in our governments and laws. Don't get me wrong not all Americans are ignorant fat douche bags. I know there are douche bags everywhere, but I much rather live in Spain. enough said

  • Words well said I have to say, we as a Country, Blacks, whites, browns whatever ok, we need to stop this hatred and treat each other and as family all the way. as the great Martin Luther would say" Do not judge me for the color of my skin, but by the content of my character" We are all brothers and sisters in God's eyes I say, let's be one heart beat, one family , one team all the way. peace to all and God Bless you I pray...

  • WORST SPEECH EVER I ALMOST DIED LISTENING TOTHIS SHIT

  • @igotthatsnowmayn I hope you would've died.

  • Comment removed

  • @igotthatsnowmayn just delete your comment and change it to "I WANT ATTENTION" cause its very obvious

  • The government killed MLK because he was educating the American public about the real reasons why we were in Vietnam. Google "MLK Vietnam". RFK was one of the people who knew the truth about Vietnam. He was a propagandist.

    Here's an article about Vietnam.

chss (dot) montclair (dot) edu/english/furr/chomskyin1282 (dot) html

  • lol mlk was killed by the government.

  • The song in the background is from the KICK-ASS movie soundtrack...

  • This is a very inspiring speech alongside the "I have a dream speech" by Martin Luther King Jr.

    Therealweeklynews

When will you make another video in either of your channels?

Looking forward to your next one.

  • this was from a white man so when black men say white people are the devil....they can suck it

but then again I no nothing of the real world Im only 13 what the fuck does my opinion count

  • @LPproducttions

Because one day you will be an adult, and it is so desperately important that you try and learn and gain wisdom while you are younger. Too many people today wait thinking one day they will just mature and grow-up. That day will never come. You have to begin the track of gaining knowledge because no one will hand it to you. It must be fought for. It must be earned. You must want it. Because one day, you could be in a situation like one in this video...

  • this is a must see video. i had goosbumps the whole time i was lisening to it.

  • Sirhan Sirhan You killed a man of love and peace.

  • Damn you Sirhan Sirhan. look at what you denied us in the 1968 elections.

  • I never heard this speech, but it was a great one.

  • i make silent speeches like this to myself. o.O

  • humans suck, we are so stupid we even kill each other

  • @HomeRunChips Your vocabulary tells me your education level to make such a sophisticated statement

  • @tjohn1986 That doesn't make sense, fuck you for trying to be smart. Fail moar.

  • @Derpinity Another faggot whose vocabulary includes 'moar'. Fuck off kid

  • @tjohn1986 lmao! u mad cause i pointed out that your sentence made no sense.

you can fuck off, you're the man in his late 20's trying to sound smart yet making NO SENSE, then getting butthurt when someone comes and points it out.

  • @Derpinity why don't you run along kid, don't be late for school

  • r.i.p both of you

  • so great so wonderful so sad make me wanna cry TOGETHER WE CAN MAKE A DIFFERENCE!

  • Hay therealweeklynews ,

i would like to have your permission to copy your video an post it as my channel video.

    Thanks,

    The FatMan...

  • Martin Luther King Jr. was a truly great man, may this man forever rest in peace.

  • Never even heard of this before. I can't believe it.

  • WOW! What a great speech!!!! Thanks for posting!

  • Blessed are the peacemakers, for they will be called sons of God. (MLK and RFK)

  • No telaprompter? Some of the Presidents of today should look up to there Presidential peers of yesturday.

  • And so they killed him too.... democracy.... what a joke.

  • Comment removed

  • @seilndy You listen to this speech and all you can do is comment about Nick Jonas? The words clearly flew over your head..

  • Comment removed

  • Just Amazing...

  • NICK JONAS WATCHED THIS!

  • Mr king became a martyr for americans. Americans all universaly don't like death and that united them against hatred.

  • If you want your message to get in, you have to die early.

  • I'm shocked that I've never seen this speech before. Very well presented, especially with one of my favorite songs (John Murphy - Surface of the Sun). A profound message, and timely with all of the anti-muslim sentiment going around these days. I've replayed it 3 times now.

    Thank You

  • This is the first video on YouTube that actually made me cry.

  • He handled that so well, I have never seen this before.

    Thank you for posting this.

  • Music from Kick-Ass?

  • @AAust1594

    It's from SUNSHINE!

  • That memorial art work at the end is brilliant!
