Randy is just soooo much better. for a long time a LOT of people thought this song was about his death. but in reality it was about when he left sharon at home when he goes on tour. either way its a great song. zakk would just mess it up with pinch harmonics

Dont think for one second Zakk was nothing more than a guitartist for Ozzy. Listen to Pride and Glory, Zakk's solo album "Book of Shadows" and BLS (which is so much more than just metal). You realize he could sing (with soul mind you), write lyrics, play multiple instruments and as well as diverse genres of music. No offense, but Randy was just a guitarist.

My husband died five months ago and we played this song at his funeral because he would always remind me how much he wanted this song at his funeral. He even reminded two days before he died. He was only 39 years old, a diabetic as well as a dialysis patient. He suffered a 7 vessel heart bypass in 2007. We had an incredible week and night before his death. God I miss him so much. My dad passed away one month ago. At his funeral service I wanted to say goodbye to him in my own special way. I right away thought about this song by ozzy. It doesnt take the pain away, but I had to tell my dad that Ill see you on the other side. I hope he was able to hear it. I miss you and I love you pop..SEE YOU ON THE OTHER SIDE.

ozzy is a true legend! my father died a year ago may and i hadnt dealt with it,and many times ive questioned the last days we spent together,and if i done everything he needed or asked of me,i was thinking of him last night on my way home from a friends house,and had not yet heard this song and i dont usaully listen to this station i,but it came thro on its own static at frist but the song became very clear,and peace suddenly came over me. i lov you dad r.i.p larry a wilkerson

My husband died five months ago and we played this song at his funeral because he would always remind me how much he wanted this song at his funeral. He even reminded two days before he died. He was only 39 years old, a diabetic as well as a dialysis patient. He suffered a 7 vessel heart bypass in 2007. We had an incredible week and night before his death. God I miss him so much. Thank you Ozzy for the incredible song. I will never forget you James neither will our kids. I miss you.
