I like this version, however I do like Pollini's better. Pollini's is on the fast side, and this is quite a bit slower. I am a fan of Ashkenazy.

I'm a know nothing...but I know I prefer to listen to Ashkenazy's interpretaton...it speaks to me more the way I hear it, feel it. very emotionally generous and flowing

A fine interpretation indeed but, at least to me, nobody has ever play this work as Claudio Arrau did.

Ashkenazy's interpretation is the best.  Everyone else plays it too fast in my opinion and don't feel the music like he does.

Thank you :) Ashkenazy is undoubtedly one of my favourite performers. I was lucky enough to see him live in Zurich a few years ago when he played Rachmaninov.
