  • That sleight of hand. I've watched it like 5 times and I can't figure out how he switches them.

  • what sleight of hand? I've watched it 500 times frame by frame, can't see it

  • @youpaymyrent exactly, it just looks like the picture changes. He must have a copy of the picture on the rights underneath the picture on the left that's in his hand, then he puts it on the table and slides the back one (the copy) over to the guy, hiding the original picture on the left under his arm, and then pulling it back.

  • @youpaymyrent yea i just watched it again, that's absolutely how he does it.

  • Having just seen this I STILL have a hard time believing that you wouldn't notice the gorilla. I thought it was a trick to get us to count incorrectly! :-)

Not that I doubt what he is saying, I just saw the gorilla very very clearly and can't really imagine not having seen it.

  • I totally missed the change in the second picture though.

"BLINK" by Malcolm Gladwell is all about (what I would call) intuition and how and when it is used both successfully and unsuccessfully.

  • a very good idea i want to consider doing..thanks.

  • Great video with some important insight. Thank You!

  • Just to clarify, the straw-like substance was esparto, not hemp.

  • WTF? 7:23 weird voice

  • Fascinating. But what does any of this have to do with intuition?

  • if he had asked to focus on the black shirt team, the gorilla may have been seen by more ppl i think.

  • 13:12 that guy at the back loos like a ghost!!!!!!!!!!!!!111

  • this helps explain the unexplained phenomena not being seen by others around the witness

  • There's a duality in all things, gotta pick the side you light tho.

  • @tmwilli6 - actually, he DID say it was hemp, at least 17 times though out the video. Your intuition is lose, man!

  • Did anyone notice, or care, how he mentioned the original book of the poems of the portuguese was printed on paper made from straw or straw like substance? Wouldn't that be hemp? I mean, maybe people in early 19th century used a different straw like substance to make paper... that I've never heard of. Why wouldn't he just say hemp?

  • loose is the opposite of tight

lose is the opposite of find

  • When I use my cellphone, I don't loose attention, I loose motor control. Which is worse?

  • you shuld always look for the 'why'.. as in really look into it not just ramble like creative responses and such.. the reason for why all this happens is pretty much the same as in many many other cases.. retardation. let children roam to learn freely.. burn literature books.. ban retarded videogames.. stop pretending, stop selling yourself for someone you know you are not.. it can all still go away with time.. do not perpetuate retardation and then keep finding reasons to do so

  • try how the mind doesn't work.... is dangerously wrong

  • Good video. This is exactly why I am always "iffy" about my jugdment, recalls, etc. I usually don't say I'm 100% sure about anything. lol.
