Yes but a Tiger can also kill a Grizzly bear. It depends on the individual. Tigers hunt and kill elephants, rhinos, brown bears, black bears.

Look Buckethead, even if a tiger got on top of a elephants back, then the tiger still does not have a high chance of killing the elephant. Sub-Saharan lions get on hippo's backs occasionally and they still don't bring down the hippo or even a African buffalo without a fight.

If you can prove to me that a Bengal tiger has successfully preyed on a healthy adult Asian elephant, then I will believe you. Dude, not even a pride of sub-Saharan lions will successfully prey on a healthy adult African elephant. And the reason I said Bengal tiger is because that is a large sub-species of tiger.
