@Tombstone416 Before you make that decision, realise how much they compressed the map so consoles could dl it. They compressed it into 1GB which is very small for a BF3 map. All of the textures/lighting is lowres due to this... Lag is also due to this being a BETA.. It's meant to test the servers.
If you are going to judge a game based on a compressed BETA, at least rent the full release so you can make an educated decision.

@Man65JJ if you were playing on a console, it could be that you where using a standard definition TV. I played the beta on an SD TV and the lag was horrible, then I put my ps3 on a HD TV and it worked properly... guess they´ll have fixed this by now...

The character models look bad the textures are bad and the realistic feel of the game is bad. when you zoom/aim you just hold the trigger and kill anyone while the weapon is fully stable. No stamina meter, characters move as if they were super soldiers high off Redbull mixed with Smirnoff. feels like an arcade shooter, Fail.....

@theshingler420 this game will need a pretty good computer but if you do have a good computer thry eviting all the programs you dont need running in task mannager. it might speed up a bit
i played the beta and i was really excited and wen the match started i saw all the horrable graphics it had . i saw to many sharp spots it looked hrrable , i am disappointed i thought it was going to be better than that , i know MW3 wont let me down .
@The305Gamer You judge too fast. This is the beta. The beta was about 1GB. The full game is about 6 GB. The graphics will definitely be better on the full game. The beta is only to test the balancing of the weapons. Don't even compare the graphics between MW3 and BF3. They are both great games but the graphics CANNOT be compared. -_-
@Trolulz Why? Are they going to fix all the bugs in the next week before they print the discs? Or are they going to release a shit game just to get it out before good ol' CoD? Word spreads quick and I see a lot of console gamers waiting for MW3 to come out before they make the desision on which to buy. guys you need to stop freaking out because the beta has a few bugs....the makers of this game are going to release a game that is free of bugs and issues and if not maybe there will be 1 or 2 that they will most likely fix with an update. Its a beta for a reason

In PC version of BF3, we get Command Rose, squad management system, full destruction, real Ultra Graphics, 10 map capable of 64 players. I will be playing both, but I don't think they have enough time to fix all the bugs before release, and they wouldn't dare delay the game with MW3 coming out on 11/8. Looks good on PC though :)

The beta was awesome, they just need to fix on some bugs and little errors.
Also working on the fingers & arm because it looks a bit raggedy, but this game will definitely rock when the full version comes out.

@xWaffles117x. Nope, I play on PC. Gears of War is just one of the most overrated and boring shooters I've ever played. Plus, not everything was added on the beta version. In PC version of BF3, we get Command Rose, squad management system, full destruction, real Ultra Graphics, 10 map capable of 64 players. And like I said, beta build is 3, or even older build, so it's far behind what DICE are making. But it's not bad to be skeptic. Listen reviews, and opinions from players. Then choose.

@gpo16 Beta means Beta. It isn't the full game. It has lots of glitches. That is what a beta is for. Even if it has a ton of glitches, the beta is so that people will find glitches and tell EA and DICE about them. Don't be an idiot, no game is going to have a perfect beta.

yes its official Battlefield 3 majorly blows on consoles, I would even go as far as saying COD graphics are MUCH better. Definitely a game only worth getting if youve got a decent spec pc
