It's actually quite easy you would just need a good h264 codec highly compressed vlc player and a tv feed you would even be able to watch tv over the internet not just your home network

You can do this with the Slingbox or HAVA apps as well... They're free and connect to your cable/sattelite, DVD, DVR, etc. over the internet.

They work for Windows Mobile, Symbian, Palm, and iPhone as well :)

or u can jus go download and setup an account on orb. c o m for free. buy a tv tuner for your computer and set that up. then go to installer and download orb live. You can watch live tv, listen to music, look at pictures all located on your computer by using orblive on your iphone.
