This is one of my fav games ever, though the snes version is probably the worst version i've played. I much prefer the megadrive/genesis version, the music is just so much better and it doesnt slow down when theres a lot of movement on screen. This one does have a much quicker save time though.
The pc, 3do or amiga versions are probably the best but i have yet to play them.
This is very similar to Blackthorne, which by the way was the 1st computer game I ever bought. Then I bought Flashback. FB seems to have a slightly cooler, but not better story. Level play and design are similar. The music and lighting effects are slightly cooler in BT. Play both and see. I have finished both of these games.
The SNES is way better than the Wii and other modern game giants. This game is good but it has lack-luster controls and... lacks of music, while what music it has is good.
This isn't actually a direct sequel to Another World/ / Out of This World though Flashback is generally considered its spiritual successor. Gotta say though, I much preferred the MD/Genesis version of this game simply because it runs more smoothly and the music and sound effects are way better.
I know! I could barely believe it myself. lol...........actually that's being unfair. There's some great music on the Genesis/MD. But really, the Gen version of this sounds sooooo much better.
This was such an awesome game!!!!! Blackthorn was good too. I think it was made by the same designers too.

Flashback is not the sequel to Another World, Another World had it's own sequel: Heart of the Alien on the Sega CD, just letting you know :D

Flashback is a great game, one of my favourite back these days.
But still good playing it today, i just buy it from ebay for my SNES collection :)

Agreed, SNES is more advanced too, as the SNES can have 4 people playing all at once, something a Wii and PS3 don't seem to be able to do.
Because NO BODY EVER USES THIS DAMNED FEATURE ANYMORE!
And it boils my piss, I have mates and I want to play with them on games we like. I don't want to play with them from our respective houses.
