  • I don't think that that should have been a safety, but you can't change it so I'll just have to hope that the rest of the season goes better.

  • Don't you mean lose to Chicago, not the Giants? Well ok. I agree with you on all of it. I just really want to see the Vikings win!

  • The bucs are a good team. They've given us fits in the past. We haven't been playing well down there. The Vikes need to establish that they can beat good teams consistently and on the road. We need to win this one. It may not be a division game, but it is a conference game and will have a big implications in the wildcard hunt (should we fall short of the division). We could get an inside track on the south and somewhat the east (conf. record) if we sweep them (2 down, 2 we'll see). Go Vikes!

  • if brad johnson can beat the bucs so can we lol.

  • Thank god we beat you guys early in this season. If Orton isnt their its not looking good our pass defense is god awful.

  • i think we shouldn't have a problem with the buc as long as we dont turn the ball over we will be good, i also think our right side of the line(cook, herrera) needs to hold off the penalties, god cook had so many, and need to strengthen on pass block

  • I can't tell you how many times I yelled "C'mon, Cookie!!" at the TV last Sunday.

  • haha yeah hes bad

  • Great Video Skol Vikings.

  • Hopefully we will get to see all 127 of Gruden's "angry expressions" on the sideline lol!

  • I agree with everything you said. The Vikes should be able to limit Garcia's production- but they won't be able to make him wet himself like Aaron Rodgers. I'm disgusted with Ferrotte right now. Any decent NFL QB -not good just decent- should do well in our system. The Vikes rushed for 220! You don't need much from your QB when you can rush & play D like that! Also I wanted the Vikes to sign Garcia befre the 2007 season and I still wish they did!

  • While I agree with what you're saying, I think a merely 'decent' QB wouldn't stretch the field as much as Frerotte, which opens up the run game.

It'd be nice to see fewer INTs, but if that requires a short, efficient passing game that ends up letting defenses stuff the run again (like late last year), it might not be worth it. I hate Frerotte's picks, but I like the occasional long bomb and I LOVE that can't pack 8-9 in the box to stop AD.

  • i think this game we have with the bucs should be an open and shut case for us. as long as we keep the turnovers low there is no reason we should lose this. IMO our offense is better in most areas, and i guess their pass D is better than ours but hands down our front 6 is dominant over theirs. i just hope our FO makes the right decisions this game cause we REALLY need it. looking foward to watch it. just hoping for 1 game where we win easily. with mostly no mistakes. skol vikes!

  • Agreed: if Frerotte keeps the INTS to 1 or 0 and the STs plays they way they played against Houston, I don't see Minnesota losing.

Front 6? I'm not sure who you mean with that. I'd bet our front 4 is better than theirs, and when EJ Henderson was in, our linebacking corps could hold their own against most teams' offenses. With Henderson out and TB's TE Jeramy Stevens being no slouch, I look for the Bucs to gash our D a little bit with short passes to 'Cadillac' Williams and Stevens.

  • by front 6 i meant our dline, greenway, and leber

  • ok, that makes sense.

Thanks for watching/commenting. It's good to hear from fellow Vikings fans.
