  • Thanks mate, go and get one and don`t let it go this time getting harder to fine them and at the right price would be even harder NOW ;-)

  • stunning !! had one myself in 83/84 on a 78 t plate still remember the reg GNX 767T in purple. loved the sound / performance sound like a turbine so smooth !! would love to find one at the right price now!!! only paid £300 and sold it 18 mths later for £275 ...fool !! yours is awesome !!

  • Thanks mate it was built from just a frame and half an engine so not a restoration it was a build ;-)

  • Stunning restoration, well done for keeping the old girl alive and to such a brilliant standard.

  • very nicely done just seat recover lets it down but the rest is great

  • @rangersgt Yes thanks for that I have replaced the seat cover for an original one just have not got around to putting an update of the video clip as that was about 4 years ago now

  • @rangersgt Thanks mate that has now been corrected and an original one has now been fitted but the clip was done about 4 years ago just have not got around to putting a new clip on ;-)

  • Thanks mate I know what you mean and I feel the same way and when I take her out it takes me back to the 70`s ;-)

  • very nice bike my mate has two mint kh400's and as soon he starts one of them up takes me back to my youth

  • I've just been transported back to the 1970's. You own an absolutely stunning looking bike. Take good care of her. She sounds fantastic. :-)

  • @Bevoin1970

Many Thanks, and yes she rides as good as she looks and I enjoy everytime I take her out

  • wow, awesome bike!

  • Gorgeous--hope the one I"m working on turns out as well!

  • nice bike...I have this bike too, can you help me with my s3 restoration.

  • Did you chrome plate the motor parts? Is it possible to chrome plate the cooling fins? I need your expertise here, looks totally pro.

  • I polished all the casings using a polishing wheel, you can have the cylinder and heads Chromed But it is Not practical to do, reason one is aluminium is not a good metal to chrome, reason two cooling of the engine you need as much cooling as you can get on a Kawasaki Triple, heat needs to Dissipate as quick as possible, some people would suggest powder coat But I personally I would Just Blasted them in a Blast cabinet using Glass Beads which don`t Preen the finish of the Alloy, Thanks Mo

  • Yea, ya right..Sounds Sweeet..

  • Why change the pistons? Obviously performance pistons do nothing unless the porting, jetting, timing etc are adjusted to match. I had an S1 tuned and it went like the clappers and the only thing left would have been to change the pistons but don't know what extra power that would have given.

  • Well the pistons I changed as there are far superior Quality the best I think you could possibly get and have never been made before for a S3/KH400 ) and far exceeds pattern pistons Quality, but I did not change them because they were to just to gain performance it was more down to Quality, but on saying that I did do the Exhausts ports along with the inlets which I have also ported and polished to match so it does have performance and I hope better reliability overall thanks for asking,

  • Great looking and sounding bike !!!!!!!
