Knowing that, you have to admit that it is rather impressive that he can go from scream to clean vocals without any issues. Check them out live, and they will amaze you man!

If you had seen the cover art for the album, you would have seen a robot with its shiny metallic heart ripped out of its chest, held in hand. That would be an example of a heart made by man, an inanimate object. Mechanical things can be repaired, but humans can often carry hurts for a lifetime. And there is the irony.

This is my honest opinion on this band. This band is awesome. I would consider this post-hardcore but you don't have too. I HATE when people say this is "emo" music or slit cutting music. This music is just filled with emotion. The songs that Silverstein make is based on what they went through. The "cutting" lyrics in their songs are just words to relate to. People get to literal on this, when really this is just music. It's music that you can relate to whether you happy or sad.
