But it looks like the throttle body is sticking up a foot higher than the hood. How did you resolve that?

Hey Sam,

Yes actually the Air flow sensor was in a temporary position because I hadn't extended the wiring harness at this point. Since then, with air flow sensor in the the right position, the throttle body does in fact clear the hood. It's got that bump in the center {as you well know}. No issue with clearance.

Nice..Where did you get this done? I have a 1997 with electrical problems but the body is perfect. I would like to do a similar conversion.
