  • Hello YouTube and fellow Hip-Hop heads! My friend Duff and I wrote a rap to this KMD instrumental. It is the first video in my "Favorites" so if you have the time, you can go to my channel, check it out, and let us know what you think. Thank you very much! :-)

  • Getting my DOOM Dunks in a week!

  • Classic.

    Just...too dope.

  • Fuckin hell this beat is plain RAW!

  • wats that song called at 3:27

  • Comment removed

  • Wtf is berrics ?

  • i have this album...

  • idk wat berrics is but i make blacks jelly from my knowledge of kmd =D

  • I don't see how people can not like this, especially if they listen to other kinds of rap. This shit's just too good and too original to hate on.

  • "Living like that Ziggy from the funnies cat!"

  • Alternative to fapping is playing with a midgets tits

  • The album artwork is signed emef .... MF

  • rip subroc <3

i never even knew this was on the berrics, i must check out hip-hop history!

  • The beat sounds like the x files theme

  • @jokamund word! i'm sure it was sampled from there

  • fucking classic

  • @ScaldaniBagni is that they KMD got more political when they started hanging around the groups you mentioned. Hell the cover of black bastards was a political statement

  • real hip hop... krs-one approved

  • first and last is mf doom? seriously?

  • If you like basslines, this album is for you.

  • I Was Born A Nigger Yesterday.....Always A Nigger Everyday.....I Gonna Be A Nigger Till The Undertaker Put Me In To The Ground!

  • Lol

  • Pure butta!!!

  • My theory is that KMD had a serious change in lyrics and material when they stopped hanging out with the Leaders of the New School (tribe, jungle brothers, de la soul, 3rd bass, brand nubian, et al.) and started hanging with the unfortunately less successful Constipated Monkey Crew (Kurious Jorge, Monsta Island Czars, et al). Leaders of the New was more black national, socially conscious, lighthearted. CM Crew was more violent, more in tuned with the gangsta rap of that era. Just my theory.

  • @SclafaniBagni you do realize that doom was part of M.I.C. right. he was king geedorah that was before grimm decide to start hatin

  • @bigkon420 Yes I do realize that. I just said he was with the MIC. What is your point, exactly?

  • first 15ish seconds = reference to history?

"He was a nigger yesterday, He's a nigger today, and he's gunna be a nigger tomorrow!"

"Segregation today, segregation today, segregation forever!" - George Wallace, at his inauguration as Governor of Alabama on January 14, 1963.

i know its a bit different but.. its an interesting thought lol (makes sense how the guy sounds in the beginning to me!!)

  • this group is still awesome today.. in the back of my mind its been so long since i took a listen

  • Where is the Drumloop from????

  • @skulasticsee It's from Jody Watley - Looking for a new love.

  • @kola3000 I know where the sample (the bass) came from, I am wondering about the drum loop layered over it...?

  • cant stop listening to this !

    peace from Slovakia

  • somthing about the black racing point the finger right at the color in relation and everything between

  • nice.

  • all it needs is a supreme lyricist like Gift of Gab and this track would be out of sight.

  • @Higginz1991

what you talking about? this song is already out of sight.

  • Perfection...

  • i fucking loooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooove this song!

  • @nothingButFatBeatss couldn't've said it better myself

  • i fucking loooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooe this song!

  • One of my favorite real Hip HOP songs of all time. Who knows what this dude is talking about but this joint is hot.

  • lol at that hot album cover!

    playing hangman an oldschool game

  • One of the dopest beats ever

  • Is that a sample from the intro of the show X-Files?

  • @rcsenio It's Jody Watley Looking For a New Love

  • lol @ herbs just findin this out

  • beautiful. i sometimes question if it's possible to replicate that early 90s hip-hop sound. sometimes artists gget close, but it's rare these days. this comes from a time when hip-hop was just about FUN and expressing yourself, period.

  • god their flow is so nice on this

  • Find myself hittin tha like button every time I view. Worth it's weight in Gold, this shit.

  • r.i.p subroc

  • I knew about them before the berrics, but seriously hip hop history is the best segment on the berrics. It warms my heart to see some new fans of the golden age of hip hop.

    one love.

  • @CollectiveDennis

    rip buttery ass mondays :(

  • @crash2363 :(

  • BERRICS!!!!

thank you Dante Ross and Reda. peace

  • berrics brought me here

  • @yhettiproduction

    Me to Dante ross

  • @yhettiproduction MF Doom Brought Me Here

  • @oiCrushx it is MF Doom... Doom ( Zev Love) and his bro dj subroc are in this group. Well were.. Dj Subroc died.. and doom went into total seclusion and out of the light for about a decade and reemerged as mf doom.

  • @yhettiproduction then your a faggot

  • @downwiththemaster it seems to me your the only faggot here.

  • this beat is soooo fuckin raw

  • @balloonfiesta15 subroxs raw beat is get u now look up that song. by kmd

  • zev love (AKA MF Doom)'s early style seems a lot like Dres from Black Sheep...or maybe that was everyone in the early 90's

  • A YES YES YALL

  • this reminds me of smoking in my room

  • did they sample the X files intro ? lmao

  • @REZA1nr ...No, they sampled Jody Watley's "Looking For A New Love (And quite well, might I add--The beat is sick)..."

  • Pure butta!!!

  • HIP HOP!!!

  • kmd comin back in 20 whatever with a new album.(r.i.p subroc) zev love x .respect

  • this beat is one of those beats that symbolize that early 90s shit

  • woah...racist

  • @elking1995 whats racist about it?

  • this is racist

  • @comedybenj really?

  • @comedybenj how is this racist? isnt it by 2 black men? then i fail to see where the racism is

  • @djisgod666 why are they rapping about niggers then?

  • wow grown a brain

  • @djisgod666 what is this song about?

  • @comedybenj they're mocking a racist stereotype

  • @comedybenj it's satirical you empty headed jizz bucket, you don't listen to hiphop, the fuck were you doing here anyway? fuckin beat it kid, you sound like a moron

  • I NEED OPINIONS PLEASE!!

WHAT ARE SOME OF THE BEST SONGS BY KMD?

I LISTEN TO LOTS OF DOOM, BUT I HAVE NOT LISTENED TO MUCH BY KMD.

PLEASE DON'T RESPOND WITH "ALL OF THEM" CUZ THAT DOESN'T REALLY HELP. ( : THANKS IN ADVANCE

  • @sixpackofsprit i like this one, humrush, peachfuzz, black bastards, smoking that shit, who me, subrocs misson, plumskinzz. Its safe to say they are all good though

  • @sixpackofsprit dude its only when you spell his name

  • @sixpackofsprit Just listen the whole album 'Black Bastards'. It's a fucking masterpiece

  • jody watley sample is genius!

  • I don't see how a label would drop them over Sub-Roc's passing. Most companies would milk that. Don't get the logic in that. Not 100% sure, but from what i heard, it was the art work. Anyhow, R.I.P. Sub-Roc. KMD has given me enough flavor for a lifetime.

  • THAT COVER IS SOO OO FUCKING TIGHT, LOVE THE CONCEPT

  • OMG......HIP HOP

  • a positive Kause in a Much Damaged society!!!

  • yo this beat is off the hook

  • One of the hardest KMD joints. RIP Subroc

  • kmd is cool till today

  • Had KMD survived the douchebaggery of Elektra Records they could have been one of the most sucessful hip hop groups ever

  • the chicken crossed the street cuz he seen me with a mask on~

  • I remember the bullshit this group had tp go through behind the cover. The idea was to execute a stereotype. Elektra records were really chicken-hearted by dropping KMD from it's roster.

  • @chuckuufarlee its so true. its so sad how hypocritical and douchy alot of people are. what is a white person to say the cover is racist?? its like a asian guy making fun of some one with squinted eyes and a small dick(lol). but seriously, they didnt even bother to think past the picture and actually think about what it was about. instead, they just declare it racist, pull it off of shelves in music stores, and drop the group, the same week DOOM's brother died.

  • @bigddagenius Damn! I didn't knoe Subrock ied the same wek they were dropped, now THAT's fucked up! Some reporter had caught an early glimpse of the artwork and then had the genius idea to condemn the group in a music magazine (I forget which one it was). She did this without even bothering to ask KMD what the artwork and album title symbolized. She later "regreted" that her actions led to KMD getting dropped. So, I blame that bitch for what happemed.

  • @chuckuufarlee would've been smarter to keep them and allow controversy, that's what everyone else does and it gets them famous and rich

  • @ratfinkskates All those lables were scared shitless of any type of corporate and public flack. Ice-T went through that same bullshit with "Cop Killer".

  • @chuckuufarlee actually they more likely were dropped due to the death of subroc, it was the public who started up controversy over the album cover

  • @st0nerrxkx no brother they were dropped because of the album art.

  • @st0nerrxkx no disrespect, but that makes no fucking sense. why would they be dropped over subroc dying?? they dropped them because of the art cover.

  • @bigddagenius by they time they made/released black bastards they only had doom and subroc still in the group, so without subroc there's was no more group. ... i dont see how that doesnt make sense. ...

  • @st0nerrxkx true, you have a point. but even if subroc didnt die, they would have dropped them. if anything, it gave elektra another excuse to drop the group. it was a bitch move by elektra if you ask me.

  • @bigddagenius i agree, it was indeed a bitch move, no matter what the reason. but we almost have to be a little thankful, for without the drop from elektra, doom wouldnt have become the villain that he is today.

  • @chuckuufarlee yeah, thats a subtle way to put it. Doom told me all that back in 2000, when I interviewed him for the Source. The Source purposefully fucked my story up by mispelling Elektra (as "Electra").

They did KMD so dirty. But thats okay, though. Elektra hasn't been doing good over the past 10 years. I wonder why.

  • One of my favorite songs of all time... "jump kick ya ass like Miaggi"

  • I didn't say I didn't like what a niggy know at all, I just liked that Remix beat and Dooms verse a bit better. As for it being their best song I must Disagree....Subrocs mission, Humrush, peachfuzz, WHO ME? are my personal faves. Also if you listen to the Mr Hood CD,you'll hear Zev reference DOOM on I think it was 808 man.

  • I like the Remix to this better!

  • @SKOTxFREE Hah noway man this is probably 'one' of the greatest Hip Hop tunes ever made ;)

  • dooms story is fucking sad.......just shows how some of these white people treat our kind in america.

  • @bigddagenius what white ppl do to him i aint big on doom havent liked him since zev but i respect him im a mf grimm fan

  • @lamojkjk1 1 they had no right to call this cover racist, thats being a hipocrite if you ask me, 2 they dropped him from the label the same week his brother died, that pretty fucked up, dont you think???

  • @bigddagenius yeah that is actually

  • this is one song that will always make me nod my head

  • Comment removed

MF DOOM is a living legend with the work rate of a polish immigrant. Every beat he puts his hand to is so sick and they come outta the lab fast

  • @sukyourmumscrotch

work rate of a polish immigrant

  • Rest in Paradise Subroc.

  • dis dope doe

  • Is it produced by doom's brother ?

  • @Djdernier

yeah, he did most of the productions

  • @Djdernier it's produced by both bro. Otherwise DOOM wouldn't have it on his Special Herbs.

  • @chris45322345 Subroc did produce the majority of the album though :)

  • u aint god cuz i am bitch..

  • I like mf doom better as zev love

  • Is it bad that i'm God & yet fuckin' love this song?

  • fuck doom has given so much to the true hip hop world check out other doom (i know it wasnt just doom who made this song) songs also sick like "doomsday" "sorcerers" "red and gold" all good stuff haa

  • @Yaygens I love Red and Gold and dDoomsday.

I like how he says "That's what my tomb will say

Right above my government, Doom will lay

Either unmarked or engraved, hey, who's to say?"

I wonder if he was trying to make a play on words because his gov't name is Daniel Dumile (pronounced doom-ill-lay).

Or maybe I am reading to much into it.

anyways... i love doom and i will check out sorcerors. thx

  • @RedNoir your right. its a double entendre. right abve my governemnt doom will lay/doom-ill-lay.

  • @bigddagenius actually his government name is Daniel Dumile(pronounced Doom-ill-ay)

  • mf doom is king.

  • @damarts87: All caps when you spell the man's name.
