  • hey i do remember watching this show it was so fun i was like 6 or 7

  • wtf.. that's a COMPUTER???

  • Hold on a sec. They got a score of $770 and they only take $600. I guess they deduct some of that for taxes :p

  • @nefty018 In season 1, they received their front game score in cash also (which was split between the two contestants) -- so they each received $385 from the front game + $600 from the bonus round, in addition to the three bonus prizes.

Since they awarded a total of $4,578 cash and prizes to this episode's winners, they cheaped out for season 2: the front game was played for points (not cash), and $100 would be split between the two contestants for the first 6 matches in the bonus game.

  • I want a to get a like 70' LCD with blue ray, and a alienware computer.... =,(

  • YELLOW TEAM YOU WIN EVERYTHING!!!!!! 2:28

  • They didn't get a single one wrong! Great teamwork!

  • I love the prices

  • maaan these ppl smart as heeeeo

  • Loved Nickelodeon shows back in the day.... wish they would air reruns on a Nick Rewind channel.

  • @TheChessman6500 Send in a letter to their studios and make this happen. Now.

  • The yellow team was SWEET at this game.

  • what did they win again?..... oh yeah...

    EEEEEEEEVVVVVVVVVEEEEERRRRRYYYYYYYTTTTTTHHHHHHIIIIINNNNGGGG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • thats so cool that they gave these kids cash for competing in these games. i feel like now a days they only give you bullshit prizes in game shows. and 700 bucks then is like 1200 now

  • wait i know the cash is split between both of them but the NES does each person of the team get one?

  • Hmm...must've been an earlier episode.

How can I tell? Hear what Mike does on the last question. He reads it, and all the kid has to do is hit what's left. In later episodes (at least I think it's later episodes), he'll forego even reading it, and just tell the players to "hit the last one", saving time. To me, the latter way was better and made more sense.

  • me and my sister LOVE this!!!

  • Not the Amiga 500 with bonus pack...so cool!

  • old school Nintendo and one freaking old computer!! o.O

  • A trip back to Universal Orlando?

  • @heine71 yea they did that so that more ppl would come cuz at the time nickelodeon studios was still relatively new so they were advertising it on the show as one of the prizes cuz if u go to universal studios why wouldnt u stop at nickelodeon studios

  • Mike O'malley is my hero

  • What did they win... EVERYTHING!

  • look at the size of that kid

  • the nes was awesome back then!!!!

  • Back then? It still beats the Xbox 360, imho. :)

  • damn they didn't miss ONE !!!

  • o.k this yellow team is best ever hahahah GOOOD TIMES

  • Lol they were on fire!

Mike: Tell us what they WON!

    EVERYTHING!

  • lmfao. TELL THEM WHAT THEY WOOOOOOOOOOON

    YOU WIN EVERYTHING!!!!!!!!

  • If there's one thing I remember about the Nickelodeon shows I grew up with, it would be the ending with the Nickelodeon Studios and Universal Orlando credits, for most of its live action shows during that time were taped at the studio.

  • Man, a NES and Double Dragon? A stay for free at the (same place they were at, lol)? I wish I could've played on this gameshow! I would've sucked but at least I could've tried... >:(

  • YOU WIN EVERYTHING!

  • Get The Picture isn't the only game show that fell victim to the grand prize of having a trip to a place where they already stayed at.

    Nick Arcade Anyone?

  • why is the grand prize a trip to universal studios? they are already there. "nick studios, universal studio's florida" all they get is another trip bak to where they already were. thats cheap.

  • To me, that doesn't sound cheap.

In my life time, I've been to Disneyworld twice. Only in single day intervals.

They helped pay for a longer stay. So as long as the place and service was good, I would want that trip.

  • hahaha!!! look at prizes that funny LOL

  • I love this show! Too bad it's off the air!

  • This is why they slashed the budget for the second series of episodes for "Get the Picture."

  • Proof?

  • Think about it. They played for points in the main game instead of dollars, and in the bonus round, they split the $100 for each of the first six pictures they got instead of each player receiving $100 for each of the first six pictures they got.

After this episode, TPTB at Nickelodeon were afraid that a team would win so much again so they changed the rules for the second season.

(even though a team would get a score of 940 in a second season episode, it was only in points. I know. I saw.)

  • @ChazYocom To be the NES and Double Dragon were pretty good games for it's time. Hell, I played for my spare time as a kid. Sorry, If I said "To play the shitty games that suck ass." I was makeing a AVGN joke (Which is sucked by the way) and I was at a younger a young age when I started YouTube. So Yeah.

  • i was never alive to see the original tapings of this show, but i saw them on nick gas, until it was cancelled. this was the best show on nickelodeon

  • Mike O'Malley had such a superior energy. He was the perfect host for a kid's show.

  • Guts was his masterpiece though

  • @Almafeta I agree Mike O'Malley should've done more with his career Im hoping he can come out in more stuff

  • @Almafeta ya and he wasnt a weirdo like marc summers. even tho marc did a great job with Double Dare he was still kinda creepy looking back. then again, if you're gunna host a kids tv show and entertain kids all day i guess you gotta be a little weird anyway

  • Why do they give them crappy games Bart vs the space aliens Double dragon 3 my god whats next action 52

  • Because those prizes were given to the production company, in exchange for promoting their products.

  • lmao imagine if they did give action 52 tho... makes u thankfull foir the crappy games.

Pluss at least they got an amiga

  • I just realized...they're going to Universal Studios where Nickelodeon Studios is...so basically, they're getting their trip paid for along with $600...interesting...I love the 90's.

  • I like how the grand prize was a trip to Universal Studios - aka where they were taping the show.

  • That actually made me think of the show as very cheap. They seemed to offer that trip as the grand prize most often.

  • Actually I would have taken that trip anyway.

  • A computer, video game system, $600 and a Trip. Wow $3000 wroth of stuff! Beats leaving with shoes and a foosball table lol

  • Dude I love this, 90's television was awesome. I miss my childhood! I never saw this show before though.. love reliving the feeling though.

  • the clock will start after the 1st question is being said.

  • I remember this show I watched this when I was 2.

  • "Show us what we woooooooon!!!" lol I remember this so much thanks for posting this! I remember the commercial that went "Don't watch TV WATCH 16 TVs!!!!"

  • It's really funny to see crappy NES games for a prize.

  • HAHAHA NO! NES Games back in the 1990's were the greatest! You are an idiot!

  • Well, I meant they don't compare to the games now.

  • Yeah thats true.

  • @ChazYocom Yeah those games were like 90euro each calculated to back then :O

  • I know, The Angry Video Game Nerd did reviews on two of them; Bart vs the Space Mutants & Double Dragon III. x)
