  • What is that badass thing the lead gtr does in the beginning of the song. I know the rhythm is playing like notes out of feedback but the lead is like descending on the neck. What is it?

  • @XenotechStudios Yes, that part in the beginning is the B and high E strings being fretted together and trem-picked, starting at the 21st fret and ending around the 8th or 9th fret. I can't tell exactly where it ends, but I am going to guess it ends on the 9th because that would be one full octave. Hope this helps!

  • @RhythmGuitar4Roxy Thanks

  • how come nobody seems to know the solo parts?

  • @thejacobandjason I have actually learned the solo parts since posting this video, and plan to repost over the summer once I have time to record things again. This is over a year old after all. :-)

  • play it in drop D its easier that way.

  • @thejacobandjason It is easier that way, but easier is not always better.

Also, Rise Against plays everything in Eb standard, so I like to play it the way they played it when it was recorded.

  • awesome cover dude :D loads better than my own cover, sounded great :D
