As with all the "Summer Wine" episodes it's pure genius, and an absolute delight.

A knighthood for all concerned, starting with Roy Clarke. My highest compliment: "I'd love to have written that..."

Seinfeld was probably based on this show, but it doesn't have the eternal mark of genius. These characters live forever.
