yes, this band was a musical rebuttal to the beatles, stones, animals... their origins is the new york city area, sprinkled with a guy from Ontario. musically they were very good, influenced by American blues/folk music. the band members at this time were rather young, the two front members (Sebastian and Yanovsky) were 21 at this time (1965)
