  • John -- Purple Hearts Reunion -- 2006 worth a look Mick C

  • John played this for John O'Sullivan { Charley } today, he loved it ! He made a late run for a legal career in 1999 now very close to Q.C. appointment in 12 years -- some kind of record I believe. John thinking about visiting Rory O'Connor on Gold Coast laster in the year { He's a race horse trainer } was involved in serious car accident recently and is struggling see Mick Hadley perf in bris mick and lobbye on here who do u luv just prior to death Lobbye plays beautifully his last concert ?

  • @MrBavelaar I take that as a compliment; I love those guys and wish the media would play more than the same 2 or 3 songs out of their vast repertoire.

  • @michael14711 Good on you Mick; I'm glad you found it. It would be great to play live for you some time. Do you ever come to Brisbane?

  • dis is good - start a band and get rich

Im gonna watch all yr stuff now

  • Hey - Your music is great. I just miss only such a music in my Spirit.

  • So much sweeter sounding than another 12 String video I just watched. What kind of guitar/pickup etc. is that?

  • An old Schailer pickup It is going through a Boss CS-2 Compressor pedal with the Sustain knob at about 10 o'clock. Next the signal goes through the early model Boss Loopstation, which is just providing a deep drone in the background. Next it goes through a Lexicon reverb delay in the rack, and from there to the mixer. You can see my left foot reach out when turning the looper on and off.

  • sorry ment to put tumbs up

    sounds coo

  • Wow, this is beautiful, very impressive.

  • Is there a backing track?

  • Not as such. At the start of the piece (not shown) I played a short drone groove on damped bass strings into a loop station, so it cycles away until you see me turn it off with my foot.

  • Sweet and atmospheric.

  • nice work john...
