Do you own it? I guess you would know better than me. Doesn't look like a cd I would want too much. As it is a compilation of different artist's. I strictly collect Floyd and Dylan. You been collecting at all?
Also, do you know if "Pink Floyd and Friends: Interstellar Overdrive" is a bootleg? It doesn't seem very professional and it has the full version of interstellar overdrive and nick's boogie.
Hey, I don't see the Azimuth Coordinator. It's an extremely rare 6 live set limited to 500 copies or so, numbered by hand. I saw it.... $250.00 !!!!!........I got a friend who bought it in $35 in Mexico.........that's luck!!!
@monstercrabee I have two bootlegs called In the Flesh, First one is from DIYE label and it is from 4-23-77 in Miami. The second is 5-09-77 from Great Dane label. (The best sounding 77 show in my opinion) As for the 7-06-77 show which you speak of, I have two bootlegs. First one is Roar Ends from Sirene label and The Last Animalised from Highland. I think 77 tour is one of my favorites, that show had so much emotion in it.also in my top of the 77 tour is 7-4-77 in MSG.
I do not have many CDs bootlegs, but I have are bought with the heart. Are difficult to be found for sale here in Brazil. Unfortunately. Very cool CDs presented in video! ! !
Great bootleg collection. I have a few of these on my PC. Pink Floyd put on some killer shows in the 70's. It is a shame none of it was released officially. I have not paid for a bootleg yet. It only contributes to rape, killing, and the drug trade to a degree.
with a large collection such as your own i am sure you have heard of the record company Harvested. you know the pot leaf logo one. anyways, are they a good company, do they have crappy recordings
You Absolutely have more cd's and dvd's than I, But............. Do you collect other stuff? My House is covered room to room, floor to ceiling. =) Can I be You Friend?
It's Crazy, I can't find your comment on my page any where... But I got your post in my e-mails? YOU DO Have a Great collection. I, like HammerofPink only have downloaded material of Tons of bootlegs. Art work with a lot of mine, but no printer to produce them as yet. I Would die for those beautiful hard copies you got!! 5 *****
Are all of these bootlegs? I have quite a number of bootlegs myself, but I downloaded all of them. Where did you find the hard copies? Or even just the artwork for them? Because right now my bootleg collection is just a bunch of burned CD's stacked on top of each other, where did you find the hard copies and the original artwork? Could you let me know? Thanks!
All of these are Silver pressed cd's. Since I made this video I have made about 30 more cd-r shows with the artwork I have made into cd's. Alot cheaper than tring to pick these up on silver although I will definately try to complete my Sirene collection. I am in the process of getting all the available recorded shows I am close but have access to all of them. If you want a site to download them along with the artwork please send me a private message and I will hook you up.
i have all 14 studio albums. the contents of all those albums are all included in the studio albums right? i just wanna make sure i have everything from them whether it was live or studio
No their are a few numbers of course only done live such as early versions of songs such as "Return the Sons of Nothing" (Echoes) "You gotta be crazy" (Dogs ) where the words and music are different. I actually do not own any of the studio albums. for example the '74 shows they had a combo of early Animal versions as well as Shine on you crazy Diamond where the song was played whole not split into 2 parts . then they would rip through all of DSOTM. if you want any suggestions et me know
nice! i like cds way more then d/ling, feels like you are actually choosing something to listen to as opposed to just...selecting,,,but......d/ling is free so i aint complainin!
You just don't forget you wouldn't have that pretty collection and nobody would have heard of any "Dave Gilmour" or "Pink Floyd" for that matter if it wasn't for one man. And that mans name is Syd Barrett.
Theres nothing wrong with your Pink Floyd collection, in fact I'm jealous, Looks like lots of rare cds there, look I don't hate the Floyd after Syd was kicked out, thats the traditional pink floyd I first learned to know and love, (The Wall, Darkside, Wish you were here, Animals). but I must say the Floyd after roger waters left and they had other people writing the songs like "A momentary lapse of reason, that my friend is total bullshit. and I refuse to listen to any of it.
i reckon pink floyd would have faded in the early 70's if david hadnt joined them.Syd was a genius who inspired a lot of people(bowie, gabriel) and david's solo stuff speaks for itself.roger was the best wordsmith but when i watch roger doing the berlin wall i bet he wished he had david playing the guitars. The thing i liked about 'lapse' & 'bell' was i always liked ricks singing.david & roger together was the best thing for them-everyone lost when they split
You know I have thought about this alot, and to me asw with Syd's departure so was it time for roger to leave. Wrong or right, I liked Final Cut alot, but I cannot imagine where Roger would have taken Floyd had he stayed in the band.
