  • its difficult to stop listening to this..would like to lay vocals over this.. have a longer version?

  • @clemmpee hey there, thanks for the comment, I took the song from this video - watch?v=fakewAgSlZA :-)

  • use tube converter works great

  • too long....i dont like it for startup.

  • Alienware\? never heard of that?

  • where do u guys get these sound files from?

  • Ok, im back with another question. I got to the startup step. I press on the start menu, and there is no "Startup" that i can find. Please help!

  • alienware runs as soft as this song : )

  • Didnt work for me. i followed the instructions prefectly too

  • Can you upload a link to the wallpaper dude?? its soo cool!

  • How did u make the voice?

  • gay

  • Alienware.5x.to

  • cool but waay too long... =P

  • Hey bro your site is down and I would like to have your wallpaper. Can you send it to me or post it?TY

  • @twisted337 weird, link is working for me, I will send the link for you again tho.

  • Ok, i downloaded both, put the sndrec32 in system 32 file, but i dont know how you get the music to go into the sendrec32 file. please help!

  • @keither725 all you gotta do is have the shortcut direct to the wav file, and put in those commands to have it play at startup without showing the actual program, so it's transparent.

  • When i try to create the shortcut on my desktop it says that it cannot find the file....

  • this might not sound right to you guys, but this reminds me that it sounds like a trauma center operation briefing. I don't know why though :P

This sounds epic either way though :D

  • @Raicuda lol, yeah I know what you mean, probably the electronic beeping sounds in the background that make you think that :-) Sounds like a heart rate monitor or something. (The sounds were taken from the Six Million Dollar Man theme song, so that could be why) lol

  • @1981z28camaro Ok i actually was able to copy it into my directory and then moved it to the said location but then when it tries to run...it won't...says it can't open the file and then there's no file location...hmmm

  • @Manster2 I'm not really to sure then, I would probably have to see your screen to know what's going on.

  • @REHScech yes :-)

  • @1981z28camaro I keep getting this error message that says that the file cannot be found....what am i doing wrong?

  • My new ringtone !

  • Comment removed

  • does anyone have a link to the wallpaper?

  • @1981z28camaro, check out my site you have to google "erics pc inc" because youtube forbids me to add a url to a post. stupid rule...

  • @1981z28camaro , in windows 7 the path is:%SystemRoot%\system32\SoundRecorder.exe /embedding /play

please add to description so others know. thnx -ebthepcguy

  • @ebthepcguy SystemRoot is just like a shortcut to your System32 directory, it still takes you to the same place, so either one works :-)

  • @1981z28camaro im talking about the app. it does not work in 7 error: C:\WINDOWS\system32\sndrec32.exe Does not exist, please specify another path.

(sndrec.exe got changed to SoundRecorder.exe friggen microsoft they screw up everything.)

My specs: OS Genuine Microsoft Windows Ultimate 64 bit

    cpu: AMD Athlon TF-20 x2

    GPU: ATI Radeon HD3200

    RAM: 4GB DDR2

Screen: 16:9" crystal cinema display HD

  • @ebthepcguy works fine for me, I just checked the path I had chosen, and it's the one I said to use..

the reason it doesn't work for you is because Windows 7 doesn't have sound recorder (at least not the one you need anyways) I will post the link in the description, once you put that in the System32 directory it will work.

  • @ebthepcguy my mistake for forgetting to include that.

  • this probably sounds like stupid question but ....can you do this same process that you described in the description with any sound? can i do it on my xp?

  • @luis703487 yeah, you can :-)

  • y do ppl hate alienware so much??? if ur arguement is dat if ur gonna spend dat much money on a pc u should just build ur own....i dont have a clue how to build a pc.....like most ppl...so i bought alienware

  • Alienware = Epic money grubbers.

  • i want this for when my iphone starts up

  • only fucking idiots buy from alienware, pffff

  • @TheFatal05 Only fucking idiots hate alienware, I have an alienware computer, and it's the first computer I have been able to actually enjoy in a long, LONG time.

  • @doom3134 Only fucking idiots would waste the money on an alienware... build your own pc...

  • @grandtheftauto1233 That may cost more, and what if you fuck it up? And damage some hardware, then what are you going to do? And plus, what if you don't know how to build a computer? Have you ever considered that? Fucking idiot.....

  • @doom3134 building a PC isnt hard at all, there are tons of tutorials, and damaging something is your own fault for not being careful, although hardware is durable (some)

  • @doom3134 if you damage your hardware you return it to the company for a replacement, besides it's very hard to damage your hardware installing it into a PC unless you are just a complete moron, lol

I'd much rather prefer building my own PC (I just wanted to make a startup sound for an Alienware system) besides I take pride in building my own PC, and I learn something new. (not new to me now of course)

there's also TONS of instructional videos online to walk you through it.

  • @1981z28camaro Yeah, but some people prefer just to buy pre-built models, and it can be cheaper, but that depends on what type of hardware you are getting for it.

  • @grandtheftauto1233 True, but, also, getting a pre-built model is faster, and easier, and with building your own pc, you gotta be careful, and buy all of that hardware, depending on what it is, it could cost you ALOT of money, and it may even add up to more then an average/gaming computer price.

  • @doom3134 it is very hard to make the hardware that you are going to build cost more than an equalivent pc from people like alienware... its where you buy the parts, its usually alot cheaper that way

  • @grandtheftauto1233 It can be cheaper in some cases, but it depends on where you buy it from, and how much it costs, and, if the pc breaks down, you may have to pay for third party tech support, not saying that company tech support is any better though, infact it's probably worst.

  • @doom3134 we both have points, just drop it...

  • @doom3134 cause u dont know how much money ur shitting out the drain and what u are getting cause u are a idiot, there is a reason why i said "idiot" in the comment.

  • @TheFatal05 Well, I'm happy with my alienware M15x, alienware computers are good, and making your own computers can be cheaper, but, you gotta watch where you buy it from, and what you are buying.

  • @doom3134 buy it from? lol why would anyone buy computer parts from ebay or some fucking hobo? yeah again, i said idiot for a reason.

  • @TheFatal05 I meant from which store, like amazon, you fucking idiot.

  • @doom3134 again with retarded comments, wont even bother talking to a fuck like you, go keep buying ur alienware u fuck...

  • @TheFatal05 I will, and it looks like I made some one cry. >:)

  • @doom3134 you can buy computer parts from multiple well known highly regarded companies, such as... TigerDirect, NCIX, or Newegg. (Top Three)

building a computer yourself is much cheaper, and you know EXACTLY what your getting.

to me I also find it funner, and I take pride in what I have built (it's the same reason people build cars)

  • @1981z28camaro I totally agree with you! :D

  • @Nic0las11x12 right on :-) have you built yourself a nice gaming rig? I just built one about 4 months ago.

  • @1981z28camaro Yup I recently built one :) Alot of fun :D Also it is good to know each component exactly :D

    - Nic

  • @Nic0las11x12 yeah it is, I did TONS of research before I bought all my parts, I have a friend (well more of an acquaintance) and he acts like he knows so much about computers, and pretty much all the crap in his computer he had no idea what brand name they even were, lol he bought a board without even checking if it supported SLI, then got a 3D Vision kit and wanted to get a 2nd Nvidia card to improve performance, and found out he couldn't, he annoying as fuck too, anyways, haha.

  • @1981z28camaro LOL! I know each part of my computer xD Brand name, specs, frequencies, etc.. lol I did alot of research before I bought the components too lol. You can't just buy components without checking them out. What did your friend do when he found out he wasn't able to use his 3D Vision kit? Anyways, could you please send me a message with your specs? :D Just interested :)

    - Nic

  • @Nic0las11x12 lol well he was able to use his 3D Vision kit, it's just he wanted more than one card, but his motherboard didn't support SLI, and only Crossfire, and since he cares more about performance than immersion, he sold ME his 3D Vision kit, lol and I'll send you a message with my specs. :-)

  • teh pc for me (i checked website) would cost around 11000 dollar

  • @goaltie lol, that's stupid, just build your own it's much cheaper, seriously.

I just built a kickass gaming rig for about $1,200

  • wtf? Same song as the sennheiser HD 800 ad.

  • @I3eam very good, lol

  • you mean to tell me your covered up windows allowed that sound to play during startup?

  • @nickeox what do you mean?

  • THNX

  • nice

  • can any one tell me what did it say in the middle

  • "all systems are functional"

(It's the common saying I use for most of my startup sound)

I have a better one I did the other day.

    watch?v=iEXAoUTbI60

  • its soo good

  • wow... cool!!!

  • thanks! :-)

  • Ok cool could you please send them to me?

  • hey, I post the link under More Info for all my startup sound videos, so just have a look over there for the link, and check out my other Alienware videos for the link to those. :-)

  • @1981z28camaro Cool thanks but I dont see over there?

  • lol, I see the link...you don't see it?

  • @1981z28camaro No I don't. I don't think it updated just yet. Can you PM me the link please?

  • where do you get that wallpaper

  • hey, I made it, I can send it to you, I made some other ones recently too. :-)

  • hmm nice ;)

  • thanks :-)

  • Can you send me some
