@anakinsolo68 -For the new TM, Marcus Kane was "disposed of" by Needles once he put the clown mask on. Before that, Needles was just a part of Marcus' psyche, locked up and trying to break out.
-In TM Black, Marcus Kane (Minion's Driver) wrote in a numerical code (1=A, 2=B, something along those lines), revealing that he knows that Black all took place inside Needles' head. He also commented about how he's from the "Old, colorful world", probably TM2.
the continuity really is a bit messed up. I know there is a certain order to things but at the same time there isnt. For instance, calypso looks different in almost every twisted metal. And Sweet Tooth, in head on he s not even wearing a mask, its his face, not to mention in twisted metal 4 hes dressed up like a ringmaster. Just wish it was more straightforward i guess
@xlixity its not laziness, his expression even changes, proving its not a mask :P anywho, i really wanna get the new twisted metal, not a big fan of the live action cutscenes but the multiplayer looks awesome:)

The multiplayer is amazingly fun...not a big fan of online play, I prefer and enjoy it best hooking with my ol' grade school buddies, playing split-screen and kicking each others' ass one more time.

Also, the way calypso's eyes flash at the end give it a whole new meaning after this. Did it mean he knew Marcus would give in to his other self in the end?

@CFH320 TM has continuity...it's just very subtle...Marcus for example, has been under constant struggle against Needles since tm:2...to Black...to Head On...when he finally gives in to Needles. and which is why now in the new TM, he is no longer mentioned at all since Needles has finally full control.

The people that fucked this shit up was 989 Studios. The people in TM3 looked like some prehistoric looking people. Really lame endings with absolutely no positive outcome to anyone's final wish. TM4 was just straight up fail. I'm glad Incognito took over for Black. Even though it didn't sell as much- per-say, it still had the best stories and made the most sense. Even if the characters were a little fucked up as I saw someone say 1,2 and black are and will be my favorite until I see the PS3

You're wrong. Twisted Metal Black occurs in different universe. Anything that happened in TM Black is not canon with Twisted Metal 1, 2, and Head-on. This has already been stated by the creators themselves.

Well there is a Roadkill in every game and yes there is Sweet Tooth in every one as well. But the driver of Roadkill is different from pretty much all of them. In a sense Head On was a colab of both TM1 and TM2 when it comes to character selection but the endings are very different from Head On and the originals. But if you want to look at it in a different light think of it as a different scenario of endings from the original wishes made by the drivers from One and Two.

TM3 and TM4 should not be take as part of the TM history. the game are great but 989 studios make whatever they like for the franchise. Also the original creators of TM said that 3 and 4 are like a 10 years old trying to be cool.
the history goes in this way: TM-TM2-TMHO. TMB is great but another alt of TM

Well, this is a thing based on my opinion. Sometimes I forget that all actors sound fake. I didn't like Buzz and Jamie Roberts dialogue when you listen to them. Plus they were given blonde hair, nothing against blondes, but they were originally brunettes.

Obviously they're rewriting the history of this Twisted Metal universe. Besides, the thought of Needle's dad appearing in the 2nd game was so stupid, I'm glad they didn't follow up with that in Twisted Metal: Head-On (or, should I say, the REAL Twisted Metal 3).

@BadPudding Why was it stupid? His dad was Yellow Jacket in the first one, and it did say he would come back next time for his son. The first 2 TM games are probably the only ones whose stories stay consistent. Though I love them all anyway.

You're wrong. Twisted Metal Black occurs in different universe. Anything that happened in TM Black is not canon with Twisted Metal 1, 2, and Head-on. This has already been stated by the creators themselves.

omg man u dont know anything about them, roadkill and sweet are the same man, but roadkill is the true human being, sweet is just a real nightmare, i mean, sweet is a temporary different person on roadkill, its kinda hard to tell u, but sweet is just a nightmare from roadkill...

Well there is a Roadkill in every game and yes there is Sweet Tooth in every one as well. But the driver of Roadkill is different from pretty much all of them. In a sense Head On was a colab of both TM1 and TM2 when it comes to character selection but the endings are very different from Head On and the originals. But if you want to look at it in a different light think of it as a different scenario of endings from the original wishes made by the drivers from One and Two.

i play as roadkill,and i face sweet tooth(same person..fight myself,weird..),then dark tooth(which marcus was drive too so thats REALLY doesn't make sense)and then,tower tooth?face myself again,marcus has so many clone,wtf??

Yeah, I know. I always thought they gave Buzz to him as a nickname, Because he was the driver of the first outlaw car. Jamie calls him Buzz when she popped up where he was floating around at and then he jumped into her car and they zoomed off.

TM3 and TM4 should not be take as part of the TM history. the game are great but 989 studios make whatever they like for the franchise. Also the original creators of TM said that 3 and 4 are like a 10 years old trying to be cool.
the history goes in this way: TM-TM2-TMHO. TMB is great but another alt of TM

Well, this is a thing based on my opinion. Sometimes I forget that all actors sound fake. I didn't like Buzz and Jamie Roberts dialogue when you listen to them. Plus they were given blonde hair, nothing against blondes, but they were originally brunettes.
