yeah ur right PS2 did came out a year earlier and xbox lasted only 4 years compared to PS1 5 years, PS2 6 years. and PS2 sold strongly for 2 more yers since PS3 came out. i dont know what u did with ur PS2 to break it cuz mine went through alot n still worked fine. i onc played it for 9 days straight without turnin it off. tried to pass 24h nurburgring in GT4 without AI help.
Guess I was just unlucky with PS2's. I remember GT4, great game. Anyways what I'm trying to say is that the Xbox 360 is doing to the PS3 what the PS2 did to the Xbox years ago.
Gt4 was a great game. passed it almost 100%. couldn't pass the SLR challenge on nurgburgring. The 360 is ahead of PS3 in sales but i would't say its doin the same thin PS2 did. I remember readn game informer couple months ago it showd that PS3 had 2/3 sales of 360. at that time 360 was out for 3 years and PS3 for 2 years. So if u look at it they are selling at almost the same rate with PS3 slowly catchin up. Since when 360 came out it had no competition and PS3 had Wii for competition in sales.

Yes it's a completely different game for the fact you can't put NG2 on the ps3 do to the rights for the game. Making an alteration to the title is a loop hole in order to produce the game on another system. On the real though didn't like Itagaki that much but honestly what the new guy did was take his original (well not original but his idea to bring it back) idea and took it for his own.

MGS for 360 doesn't seem to be "tactical espionage action" though, because it says "lightning bolt action" or something like that, no one knows what type of game it is... it's interesting, I wanted to see some gameplay, I was a little disappointed.
Remember Xbox 360 fangirls (and those in between), the xbox 360 may have a lot of games but it's quantity vs quality... which game console is pure quality? I've played both consoles - there's almost no difference between them as far as quality goes. Load times on PS3 are slower, but the Xbox controllers are still too clunky. PS3 still hasn't incorporated triggers into their controllers though...

i don't think that visual graphics have anything to do with the game. PS3 fans are always saying"Xbox and Wii suck 'cause the graphics look like crap". Well I don' t care because what matters is gameplay and the kinds of games the console has to offer, and I haven't seen the PS3 come out with any games that capture attention.

Dude. That's like saying, that any game under different development to the first will be shit. When infact many games improve when such aspects are implemented. I thing MGS:R will be a good game. I don't particularly like MGS4, because when I want to play a game, I want to PLAY a game, not WATCH 30 minute cut scenes. But that's just me.
Either way, MGS:R will be a good title into the MGS franchise

Yes it's a completely different game for the fact you can't put NG2 on the ps3 do to the rights for the game. Making an alteration to the title is a loop hole in order to produce the game on another system. On the real though didn't like Itagaki that much but honestly what the new guy did was take his original (well not original but his idea to bring it back) idea and took it for his own.

microsoft iz going bigtime thiz year with the new halo ODST and halo: reach (2010), and the project natal. and of course coming soon is facebook and twitter, netflix is pretty good, and splinter cell convitcion. although sony is releasing a new psp named psp GO (or psp-4000) and microsoft STILL has no handheld consoles, so they need to step up a bit.

Yea if only a biased statement like that would make it even more possible for the 360 to be built better...yea i'm not even gonna continue with that my sarcasim gets too crazy afterwards. But anyway open space, no 14 hour game playing (I've done 4-6 times and mine still works but don't recommend it), or if you wanna be safe the cooling fan which isn't needed. I've played both consoles - there's almost no difference between them as far as quality goes. Load times on PS3 are slower, but the Xbox controllers are still too clunky. PS3 still hasn't incorporated triggers into their controllers though...

Why do people say that Halo is overrated? Its a great game and deserves the credit. It saved Microsoft with the online. Did you know Halo and Gears of war was supposed to be an exclusive for the Ps2? i've had each console from day one, yes i was one of the lucky ones, and so far my ps3 has been a blu ray player and online for ps3 is what you pay for...which is...free, so figure that one out
