This is terrible. I am an avid hunter,fisherman,and a trapper. I never think this kind of treatment is OK my animals die quick deaths. The leghold Holds them there it doesent beark their legs. If they chew their legs off its their choice not mine. The animals are shot ethically and the fish are killed quickly. Real trappers like Me Hate these people. Not all hunters and trappers and fishermen are like this. I know this and Im 12.

@123naruhina my hides get sold into the fashion trade. fur coats are needed in some places such as russia or alaska. faux fur can build up frost as you breath but coats made of wolf or wolverine fur wont, fur coats are also better for the enviroment because they last longer and when they get thrown away they brake down into soil, while faux fur does not ,it is petroleum based. the fur trade also helps the ecosystem by helping control animal population instead of dying from disease and starvation

Endangered animals are protected by law world wide.
As far as fur farms it's a business filling a need of supply and demand. Those particular animals are raised just for that purpose, no different than the farmer raising corn. And unlike what is said the WHOLE animal gets used.
As far as trapping in the wild it looks cruel but is no worse than nature itself and the animals legally trapped are a renewable resource that is managed by the Fish&Game biologists setting seasons.

This is terrible. I am an avid hunter,fisherman,and a trapper. I never think this kind of treatment is OK my animals die quick deaths. The leghold Holds them there it doesent beark their legs. If they chew their legs off its their choice not mine. The animals are shot ethically and the fish are killed quickly. Real trappers like Me Hate these people. Not all hunters and trappers and fishermen are like this. I know this and Im 12.

@123naruhina my hides get sold into the fashion trade. fur coats are needed in some places such as russia or alaska. faux fur can build up frost as you breath but coats made of wolf or wolverine fur wont, fur coats are also better for the enviroment because they last longer and when they get thrown away they brake down into soil, while faux fur does not ,it is petroleum based. the fur trade also helps the ecosystem by helping control animal population instead of dying from disease and starvation

@711pyro LOL i have a whole coyote in my freezer now wating to be skinned whole rug cut so i can mount him as a rug. though i sometimes wish i had your story i didnt kill this coyote it was infact shipped to me as a christmas gift, but it was shot. i am glad that it was saved whole so it could be used for taxidermy rather then being hung on a fence to rot or feet cut off and sent to the fur market XD i am 85% for fur. but will never buy from the china fur trade.

Endangered animals are protected by law world wide.
As far as fur farms it's a business filling a need of supply and demand. Those particular animals are raised just for that purpose, no different than the farmer raising corn. And unlike what is said the WHOLE animal gets used.
As far as trapping in the wild it looks cruel but is no worse than nature itself and the animals legally trapped are a renewable resource that is managed by the Fish&Game biologists setting seasons.

Sure, if we would eat animals, why dont you go out there, hunt with your bare hands, and it the flesh raw from the body of the animal. Thats what you do if you are a being which are ''supposed'' to eat meat.

How can someone do this? Of course animals feel just as much as we do. Some are FAR more sensitive! Did you see how scared those raccoons were? It's terrible that we, as a world, would stoop so low.
